Listen, all the talk about the detachable keyboard is kind of getting old. Both are touchscreen and both have the ability to do just about the same things! Don't let a detachable keyboard decide whether or not you get a phone......

ok i have the LG Dare and i love it yet hate it at the same time. like i love the tough screen and all the feautures but when i try and do stuff sometime's it'll just go to the start up screen and i have to restart some things that i was doing. my music lags if i go through the songs too fast. the screen is really scratched up from no protection. the camera zoom is terrible because it'll zoom then go back out and it'll do that like 10 times before taking a pic with zoom. i hate the QWERTY keyboard because i can't text fast without making sure i have all the words spelled right (spelling nazi =]) and i hate being able to see only one line when typing with the QWERTY. other than that i LOVE my LG Dare =]

ok im getting a phone on friday and can not decide between these phones!!!!! I love the looks and feel of the dare but like the idea of haveing the keyboard. Is it hard to text with the dare like if u r in the car will it be hard to press the right key?? plz respond anything will help

I am getting the Dare. Versa is basically a repeat of the Voyager, and I already have had the voyager.. and it's pretty boring after awhile.

lg versa's software is 10x bettter than the dares and has an acceletrometer for almost thing including just the menu but the dare has a bigger touch screen. all around im gonna give it to the versa.

I like the LG Versa better.

As of right now I have the LG enV2 and the keyboard is too small for my fingers. (I'm constantly pushing 2 buttons at a time or not pushing the right one) My question is: Are the "letter-keys" bigger on the Dare or Versa?

I am about to leave Sprint for Verizon and have narrowed my phone choice to the Dare or Versa. My bottom line is this:which one better as a phone? Any input on clarity of incoming and outgoing sound?

I have the dare so I obviously love it. But the should make the attachable keyboard for the Dare cause that would be awesome (:

You're not alone, Noah. I've talked to a lot of users who are currently trying to port the Versa's UI to the Dare.

One of the biggest deal breakers for the Dare is no support for VVM. Many people are sadly going to the Versa for this reason.

I have had the Dare as my first Verizon phone, and yes it was very nice.I did try the Voyager, and returned it within that same week. Too big, heavy, and it had the update(Dare software) however you still had lots you had to open the phone to use. And it did not accelerate on everything as the Dare. But since then I have gotten the Versa. I must say from experience this phone does TOP both the Dare & Voyager. It is all the things you wished the other two was and then some. So how can either of those be better? It added even more features, cleaned up what you might considered glitches on the others. The system is faster. Yes it has an attachable keyboard and things to come in the future. But honestly you don't need the keyboard, but if you like it is nice and it don't make the phone as bulky nor big as the Voyager still, like I have read. I use the virtual keyboard on screen with T9 Word. It works like a charm. Let me just say half the people that leave comments have never used these phones they read and look at pictures on the internet and prejudge. Go to the store and see for yourself.
