HP Mini Netbook (Verizon Wireless)

I have this netbook and its alright. Very tiny hard drive. Only 60gb and then of course you don't even get to use the full 60gb cuz of all the crap they put on it already. Which isn't much. Netbooks are horrible on storage and too expensive for what you get. As far as the internet goes... I didn't get this netbook through verizon. I got it from Hp. It didn't come with anything besides the computer and the charger and the keyboard cover. After a few months this computer will start becoming really slow. I don't reccomend this netbook unless you are planning on buying a big external hd. At least 500gb. Not to mention all of the codecs and everything else that don't come on it. Also it runs Windows XP which is now considered as old and this is suppost to be a new computer (somewhat it was release 10/08). But its a nice computer if you don't plan on using it as your main computer. If you are looking for something that you can do a lot on then don't get this one unless you are getting the external hd.

This will fail mainly cause who really want to get on a 2yrs contract with a laptop? Classic failure with these contracts, i can't wait till phone contracts deminish!

OK,I have this very same Netbook & It's pretty good. I bought it at Best Buy & didn't get any Internet service with it,but since I have Cricket that was already covered.
Yes it come with restore CDs but I don't know WTH I'm going to do with them since this thing doesn't even have a CD-DVD-ROM drive. I guess I'll have to buy the xternal 1 for it sometime. I don't know if it has the restore software on a separate drive though,I will check.
It's weird because remember when Microsoft said they were no longer supporting Windows XP? And yet,all these computers have XP on them...hmmmmmmmmm........
Anyway,this is a cool little computer..literally and figuratively. Doesn't heat up,small,slim (if you squint your eyes it kinda looks like a makeup kit:)
The computer & browser are kinda slow,but it plays videos beautifully..all depends on what kind of Internet connection you have.
I went with HP because everything they make is good. (as compared to the Acer & Asus netbooks,which looked like toys).Nice big keyboard,too..all in all..HP RULES!!!!

Yah, i guess HP doesn't give you a restore disk anymore. My new HP Desktop didn't come with a restore disk, just a partition on the hardrive and software to make your own restore disks.

I'll buy a netbook when it has a tegra chip in it!
