Wednesday, August 13, 2008a couple of questions regarding the Dare... 1-Can it sync with Outlook calendar, contacts, e-mail and notes? 2-Is it CDMA or strictly GSM 3-What is the total internal memory it ships with? Right now I cannot buy the Instinct because it does not sync with outlook, so if the Dare can, it's a possibility. It looks like a good phone. Thanks

Thursday, July 31, 2008Actually noah , feature wise the dare would win.You didnt meantion have the amazing features it is.I mean for god sakes it even has paint on it!The dare is so much better.Gps wise , the dare wins again, the screens are abouyt the same size , its jsut the outer edge of the screen thats bigger , which makes people think that the screen is bigger but its really not. So if anyone is trying to make up there mind , dare or instinct? Get the dare .

Monday, July 28, 2008I am currently with AT&T and do not own either phones. However I will be switching to Verizon soon. I am not a fan of Sprint so I would not go with the Instinct. Sprint has great prices but lousy coverage (atleast in my area). The Dare is the perfect phone for my needs, it pretty much beats the Instinct in every catigory except web browsing, E-mail?, and Wi-Fi, which i do not use my phone for and is why i do not need an Iphone. The Dare has one of the *BEST* cameras/video recorders on a phone along with great customizable features. The Dare does everything i want it to do, it replaces my ipod, digital camera, video recorder, and my current half working cell phone. Oh yeah...and its smaller than Instinct and Iphone so it should fit in my pocket nice and easy. Cant wait to get one!

Saturday, July 26, 2008Well, coming from a view on both( because I've actually had both(Took full adv of the 30 day cancelation options) I would say at first I would have stated that the instinct was better before I got the dare( on paper). I mean you have the better value with the sprint instinct and a better nav system. However when I got the dare I then saw what rev a speeds were suppose to be because the cpu in the instinct sucks. What good is rev a speeds if your cpu doesn't render the pages fast enough. And for the first time I actually ran into a phone(the dare) just as good as the iphone with music sounds. While playing a mp3 it really showed out. With the Instinct the music really was very average at best and sometimes just plan bad sounding. And we aren't even going to get into the camera advantage. As of now I am fully addicted to the dare now. And Im fully sold on this phone over the instinct or any other phone/company combined. Stand alone phone awards still goes to the Iphone(it's just that their at&t service plans and prices suck).

Friday, July 25, 2008i really like the dare. i was debating on which one to get and i now know. My reason for picking the Dare is the customization and camera. the fact that you cant customize the Instinct's main view really turned me off. Thanks Noah!

Sunday, July 20, 2008Noah Great review, I have the instinct and personally love it. Don't listen to thee people that say o you just hate sprint. You said on almost everything that their both great its just personal taste. You preferred dare on some and instinct on others. and thats the way it should be, everybody enjoys different things and everybody should test them both out themselves. Great review!

Friday, July 18, 2008I have T-mobile right now but i get very poor service at my house and other places. I am switching to verizon and i want a touch screen phone. I know that verizon has many touch screen phones but i just dont know what phone to get. I like to text and i like taking pics with my phone also i like playing music on it, so im looking for a phone with a great camera and mp3 player and texting. Do you think the Dare would be a good chose???

Thursday, July 17, 2008Noah hate sprint? Guys, big difference between the carriers and the phones. We're talking phones. Personally ive been drooling over the instinct forever, but i sell phones, and they dont let me have the $25/mo dealer plan with the Instinct yet. Verizon lets me dealer plan the Dare. I dont feel like paying 70/mo instead of 25/mo for a slightly better phone. Oh well...

LG Dare Review
LG's Dare for Verizon might well be the best camera phone currently available through a US carrier. And oh yeah, it's got a full touchscreen and 3.5mm headphone jack. Dare is hot.

Instinct vs iPhone 3G: Speed Test!

Instinct vs iPhone 3G: Speed Test!
A few months ago Sprint unleashed a media campaign for the Samsung Instinct that pit Instinct against Apple's iPhone in a series of head-to-head tests.  Now that both Instinct and the new iPhone 3G are out on the market and in the PhoneDog "labs" I figured I'd pit the two against one another in a few head-to-head tests of my own (UPDATE: Check out the video of the test, if you like). First up?  Speed.I ran a few speed tests on both...

What's the Best Phone: Dare vs Voyager vs iPhone

Whats the Best Phone: Dare vs Voyager vs iPhone
yfz450lrd from YouTube asks: Would you say the dare is better than the iphone and the voyager? Thanks for your time, your reviews are awesome!Noah answers: Thanks for the email and the kind words - glad you like the reviews.I'm going to do a review comparing Dare to iPhone and Voyager.  It's hard to say which is "better" - it comes down to personal preferences and network coverage.  Dare and Voyager run on Verizon which in many...

Instinct vs iPhone: A Few Thoughts on How To Read/Watch a Review
Things have been busy over in YouTube land lately, which is great.  And while I can't read all of the comments on every video, once in awhile I scan through to see what people wish I'd done differently or would do next time in a video (seriously, have you ever tried reading YouTube comments on a regular basis?).Seems like comparison videos are popular, so I'll keep those coming.  Seems like Instinct and iPhone are popular, as well, and...

iPhone 3G: Apple vs the World

iPhone 3G: Apple vs the World
Apple may have disappointed some phone geeks by leaving a few badly wanted features off of the new iPhone 3G, but in typical Apple fashion they're looking past the specific desires of a few in order to set their sights squarely on luring more of the masses into the Cult of iPhone.  Could Apple have added MMS messaging, stereo Bluetooth support, and a decent camera (with flash) to the new iPhone's redesign without sacrificing the grander...
