I dont think I would use it for voice calls but it looks cool for a messaging phone. Kind of looks like an upgrade to the verizon wireless Blitz

yeah but you have to get internet on the phone or it wont work for the reasons you are looking for. On the carousel they have 'tiles' for things like facebook, myspace, espn, abc news, and weather. i hope this helps you! good luck!
