Palm Pixi (Sprint) - The Quick Review

I hate how its marketed as a "messaging phone" yet you NEED the stupid Everything plan to use it...I have a "messaging" plan and a small data plan but they wont let me get this. FAIL.

Does the Pixi actually have video capture or was that a mistake? And are the speakers actually dual stereo speakers? One review I saw said that it's just made to look that way with the two grilles but that there is actually a speaker behind only one of the grilles.

Noah, I'm so confused what phone to get the LG EnV Touch, or the Smasung rogue, I've heard different things, both good, and bad, about both, so pleease, do a Dog Fight so I can hopefully decide. Thanks?

Noah, I'm about to buy a Pre at the end of this month! I downloaded the Pre emulator and I've been playing with it for a week now. I'm hooked! I think the Pre and the Pixi are getting a bad rap because of the defaults for WebOS and the lack of official apps. What has convinced me to get a Pre is the addition of home brewed apps. There is a home brewed patch for video recording along with over 1000 applications, themes, and patches for the Pre and Pixi. Will you please play around with the Pre or Pixi with home brewed apps and do another review. The WebOS platform has a lot more goodies then people think!

I'm pretty sure it can't record videos. The Pre can't first of all, so I'm pretty sure this can't either. At least both devices can't natively.

I will admit it is a bit slower which when multitasking really shows itself but I believe they did that to help improve battery life.

just looked at a display phone today at radio shack and it really is small! and light just as noah said but the keyboard was too small for me cuz whenever i tried to type i always hit 2 keys instead of just that one that i intended to hit. great form factor tho
