5/16/2008 11:53:40 AMUh... Rev-A speeds are not slow, I average 900Kbps to 1.9Mbps down at home, every airport I have been to I average at least 1.2Mbps to 3Mbps down whereas wifi is so over utilized average speeds are 200Kbps to 300Kbps down. It's the same for most hotspots. Also, even if your are able to update you still won't have 3G on your iphone, 3G is the radio not software, other words you have to by a new device. Att 3G is 3G-Edge which is still much-much slower than Sprint.

5/16/2008 8:02:30 AMhaha, so intstinct can't connect to wifi? that's kinda sad. so it will always run at a slow speed, where as the iphone can connect to wifi and run alot faster! Oh! And they say that the instinct beats the iphone? yea right, its funny how they are releasing the phone right when i believe the iphone app store update is coming out. then we will see which phone is better lol Apple owns all. :]

5/14/2008 4:19:35 AMThis is a copy iPhone , i got 8gb 1.1.4 iPhone and this is 10000000000 times better. Samsung Instinct is second telephone to competition with Apple iPhone , but Apple win , first telephone is Samsung F700/F700v and this samsung is poor phone and lose competition with iPhone , hmm i think , competition must made a somethin' more to push iPhone down ;]

5/13/2008 8:33:33 PMWhy are you hard up for wifi?... Do you know why Att and Tmo tout wifi on their phones? Att and Tmo's edge networks are snail slow. Wifi is so over utilized the ave down speed is 200-300Kbps, I ave 900Kbps on Sprint Rev-A. I've been getting 1200Kbps down and 500Kbps up all day on Rev-A, the Instinct does not need wifi period.

5/12/2008 6:54:21 PMi would get the iphone and everybody knows its better but the plans are horrible 59.99 for 450 minutes and 200 text's they think thats cheap sprints is 69.99 for 450 minutes and unlimited everything else oh the iphone has unlimited web they really need better plans and fix the flaws a SDK wont help fix it by the time the instinct comes out and i'll see

5/12/2008 1:08:16 PMIphone - Looks prettier Music/Itunes looks better for Iphone Seems faster Samsung Instinct- Cheaper Looks smaller has a better gps More multi taskable it seems from the video. Honestly I think the Iphone will still do better and the Samsung is just its little red-head brother (no offence red-heads) that will probably never do as good as its older brother.

5/12/2008 1:03:36 PMsorry nevermind, didn't watch the video before I posted the comment, I thought it was just talking about it. so scratch that comment

5/11/2008 5:12:22 PMthat's not why he put it away, maybe because it was too clunky in his hand, and he had to simultaneously operate the camera, retard. Second of all, the iPhone and the instinct are two diff types of products, one for the simple minded retard who likes flashy menus but low functionality (iPhone) and the other for the average consumer who needs power and versatility, along with a nice user-friendly interface. Before you bash products, try not to sound like a retard.

5/10/2008 6:13:59 PMvery very nice, beats iPhone for me. Although, wifi would have been a cood choice. I hear its also alot faster than the iPhone

5/10/2008 11:49:04 AM3rd party apps work on the iPhone, you just need to know how to work it
e61agem
5/8/2008 11:16:14 PMYou need to get your facts straight. iPhone can play music and multitask. iPhone has to do with 3rd party apps not working in background but Apple apps will.
magoo1292
5/8/2008 10:14:53 PMjust switch to verizon. sprint is like verizons litte loser brother lol

@ CTIA '08: Day one highlights

@ CTIA 08: Day one highlights
Wow.  It's only the end of the first day and already I feel like I've seen and done it all.  Seriously.  I played Rock Band for the first time this morning, went to an "Internet Cafe" 180 feet above Las Vegas this afternoon, and saw a ton of new phones, accessories, and services in between.  And then there was the guided tour of Nokia's massive booth on the show floor.  A few quick thoughts before Doug and I head over to the Bellagio to meet up with Courtney and...
