Tuesday, May 13, 2008I have seen the iPhone in action and it really isn't all it's cracked up to be. Being a music lover and sprint customer i'm looking forward to the instinct with greater download speeds. I have no sense of direction also so the GPS is bound to come in handy. By the way the iPhone unfortunately does not record video which is a must have for me. Either way I would rather have the LG voyager or samsung Glyde, than the iPhone. Besides the instinct is set to be cheaper than the iPhone evr was...so....

Monday, May 12, 2008can the phones that have the micro sd slots still be able to have 16gb cards because when i read it said (up to 8gb), so thats got me a little confused??...

Wednesday, May 07, 2008it can hold 16 gb, it has the Micro SDHC capacity, and there is a 16 gb card coming soon...

Monday, May 05, 2008iPhone 2G or 3G uses an inferior network (edge as compared to EVDO). I look forward to iPhone getting smacked in the 3G space also. I am so over APPLE "cores" thinking all things "i" are perfect and will always be the best performance. Samsung will do to Apple what they did to Sony in the HDTV space... Eventually CRUSHED them.

Monday, May 05, 2008Not entirely smart, given we don't know if the 3G iPhone has GPS or not....

5/15/2008 2:17:13 PMWell maybe Sprint has been better to you then they where to me but the way they handled my issues was very unprofessional and not cool not to mention they put me on hold for well over an hour and when a live voice came on the line only to have my call disconnected so I would call back and wait for a hour again. And what about all those bogus charges they put on my bill? the charges I NEVER made in the first place so yes I really think that Sprint is a "EVIL" company.

5/15/2008 12:58:30 PMNo Verizon has a better phone called the LG Voyager. The Voyager is the real iphone killer!!! not the Instinct. The Instinct is a great phone and blows away the iphone but I still like my Voyager its by far the best phone I have ever owned.

5/15/2008 12:48:31 PMNo I do not work for Sprint, it is not a matter of standing by or against a company. Have I had problems with Sprint... Yeah, they were not worth getting my panties in a bunch, the problems were handled and I am now (have been for a while) a happy customer. I believe there is no such thing as an "EVIL" company. Can there be evil components?... Yeah, what matters is how you handle those components, Sprint has been doing that for some time, as I understand churn is starting to level off.

5/15/2008 12:29:14 PMDo you work for Sprint?. How can you stand by such a evil company?. Don't get me wrong the new Instinct looks like a great phone but Sprint sucks and for ANYONE to stand by a company like Sprint the way you do tells me that maybe you work for them?. I will admit that the Instinct blows away the iphone but thats all I will agree with you about.

5/15/2008 12:22:09 PMYou don't have to say it, implications are good enough!

5/15/2008 12:17:44 PMI never once said that I paid my bill late I was trying to make a point that if you don,t pay your bill with Sptint on time they will shut your phone down I know this because I know people with Sprint that this has happened to. I will be more then happy to show you a copy of all my bills with Sprint I saved all of them. Funny I NEVER once have had this issue with Verizon. Verizon is a hands down better network anyway.
p3t3b2
5/15/2008 12:02:50 PMIf that's the case why didn't you mention that in your other comment?... I'm calling BS on this one! ;-)

5/15/2008 11:55:04 AMI never once sent my bill in late. Sprint had the nerve to say the bill was late when they posted right on there own website that payment was made and they still sent me a late fee thats a joke. During the two years I was with them the bill was ONLY right about 4 times so I was accountable and responsible. Oh and Sprint lies to you they told me the first month of power vision was going to be free it was not.
p3t3b2
5/15/2008 2:25:47 AMPaying your bill is called being accountable and responsible. One would gather your are/were neither!
pyro74boy
5/15/2008 1:26:25 AMMake sure you pay your bill on time or Sprint will shut your phone down. Sprint is such a sad company that they are busy trying to get new customers and they forget that there current customers are put on hold for hours because they are busy trying to get new ones thats a joke. Verizon is a much better company.

5/15/2008 1:18:24 AMwell i will have to admit one thing..sprint has a very fast network. I mean the iPhone is pretty good too, but i must say that usually in speed sprint phones win. But i wont say anything else cuz i might die. I dunno i have to be with sprint so i think this is the only decent phone i have a chance of getting..im not saying its "better" its just a decent phone!

5/15/2008 1:15:57 AMNah, I have close friends who are corp execs, I also do my homework.

5/15/2008 1:07:27 AMyou sound like you work for sprint...
p3t3b2
5/15/2008 12:46:16 AMJust remember this, Sprint went against the grain a launched 2G digital from the ground up, then others reluctantly followed suit. Now look where we are today!

5/15/2008 12:37:31 AMLTE is going to own Wimax?? Put the koolaid down, very few companies support Wimax?... That's like saying very few companies support cable which is true. However, if you look at the network cable companies have it is huge. Comcast, Intel, Google, Brighthouse and Time warner all support Wimax, those companies have a massive customer/network base.
pyro74boy
5/15/2008 12:27:34 AMBS Verizons CDMA/EVDO network is faster I have used and tested all the wireless networks and Verizon is hands down the fastest wireless network in the us period. I don't trust tests like computerworld because there tests are based ONLY on who ever gives them the most money. I also know for a fact that the iphone has wifi ONLY because At&t,s wireless netwotk is not as fast as wifi and on the other hand Verizons speeds are way faster vs At&t and just as fast as wifi if not faster.
pyro74boy
5/15/2008 12:15:58 AMSprint does suck I was with them for 2 years before I went with the best [VERIZON] and they have the worst customer service of all the wireless companys Sprint said they where going to give me the first month of power vision for free and it was not free my first bill was over $800 of bull shit changes. I will admit that sprint has some really cool phones but outside of that they don't care about the customer ONLY about getting there money and thats not cool.
Xacnhto
5/15/2008 12:15:02 AMLTE is going to own Wimax full deployment by 2010 is scheduled, the problem with wimax is that very few companies like sprint and intel support it, everyone else wants to use LTE.
p3t3b2
5/15/2008 12:11:26 AMSprint is going Wimax, Att and Verizon will be years behind because they chose to go LTE which won't have back haul testing for at least 2 years. Wimax has passed all test, it is slated for nationwide deployment within 18 months.
pyro74boy
5/15/2008 12:04:28 AMSprint does suck trust me on this I was with them for 2 years before I
