One last Instinct video covering GPS, Visual Voicemail, and the Calendar. Overall it's a really solid phone. And at $129? Best value goin' for Sprint customers wanting a high-end device. Too bad there's no calendar synching, though.

Sunday, June 29, 2008This phone for $129.00 bucks is nice bargain, the sprint navigation works seamless until you out in the middle of no ware it doesn't work well or at all. No flash for the camera sucks. "WTF is up with internet browser"? Truthfully who cares how fast it is when it's not loading full HTML. I'm so tempted to return the phone just cause of that. I resigned with Sprint 6.22.08 so I have a little time if I want to switch over to the iphone when it is released. When you want the best you will sure pay for it. Great job Noah I think your phone reviews are very accurate.

Friday, June 27, 2008I just left verizon to nab this phone. Its a really good device, I mean its not the iPhone and even tho I'm pro mac everything I couldnt buy it. Not only cause people complain about the at&t network but no MMS and video I had to go the Instinct route.

Friday, June 27, 2008I got this phone last Sunday and i am so glad i did! It truly is one of the best phones out their besides the iphone. I would have to say they are the top two phones of the year! I do how ever wish the browser could improve! But over all i like it. Im not a big fan of at&ts network. So i decided to go with sprint. Its a good phone!

Thursday, June 26, 2008What's up with Opera Mini? I downloaded once and it was fine. When i went to type in a web address, the keyboard didn't pop up on the screen. I had to exit. Then, when I went to go to opera mini later on, it wouldn't load. Will opera mini be made available for the instinct? If not, what mobile web browser can us instinct users use?

Wednesday, June 25, 2008if i love the NAV you will love using it with voice command. Push the voice command button on the side of the phone and say, "goto search" - it loads live search. Push and hold the voice command button down and say "pizza". It will list the closest pizza shoppes. Select a pizza shop and it gives options...way freakin cool!!!!

Wednesday, June 25, 2008Noah, on all your vids of the instinct it keeps dimming and going to sleep. For better vids turn that function off. It's very easy under settings and display. You rock man! Keep up the good work.

Wednesday, June 25, 2008"Some people just dont believe that ATT iphone is a Failure They were getting so scared when the instinct was annonced that they went and maid the 3G iphone which will be another failure like the current one. Instinct is the best priced smartphone ive had it for 6 days now ands its great with all the features i cant keep my hands off it." you just have no clue do you...considering the iphone has sold MILLIONS and the Instinct wont EVER touch that and the 3giphone was in the works LONG before the Instinct was out. Fanboy of sprint much?

7/12/2008 11:20:26 AMThese vids suck. The person doing them is terrible and slow. One thing not mentioned is you have to buy the 99 dollar plan, What does this mean? @ 2 years 2400 bucks in Sprints Pocket, Not yours! :) There is price for everything so it seems. I suppose if you want to look cool for the next 6 months or whenever the next new shiny phone comes out you better pony up 2500 cash unless you plan on breaking your contract. At this price you better get the warranty!
Tippey786
7/9/2008 12:25:26 PMit has a voice for the gps the phone though really dislikes if you make a wrong turn because you know a better way. It will just tell you to turn around for the longest time till it finally makes a new route.

Instinct: Sprint Releases Individual Application Updates

Instinct: Sprint Releases Individual Application Updates
At long last Sprint's given the go ahead to its vendors to unleash a slew of application updates upon Instinct owners.  A post on Instinct Insight details the release process, and makes it clear that the actual app updates are coming from the third-party software makers and not directly from Sprint.  Sprint basically opened up the floodgates here and its up to the vendors themselves to decide what to release, when, and how (or so says...

Noah Answers Your Questions - T9 on the Instinct?

Noah Answers Your Questions - T9 on the Instinct?
Q. Noah, you have very informative videos and think that you are great at your job. I have a question about Sprint's Samsung Instinct. I am fairly efficient with a QWERTY keypad, but I am so much faster on a T9 layout. Is the Samsung Instinct capable of a T9 text entry? I noticed in your YouTube video "Sprint Samsung Instinct vs LG Vu vs iPhone - Long Version " that when you entered the number to text (right past the 10:00 mark), the numbers had...

Noah Answers Your Questions - What is over the air downloading?
Q. In your instinct vs iphone comparison you said with the Instinct you can download 'over the air' and the iphone you cannot. what does that mean and what does it mean to me in a practical sense? Also, what other limitations would this feature, or lack of the feature, cause? A. Over the Air downloading means that you can purchase and download songs and video directly to the phone using your cellular connection.  Apple limits iPhones to...

Noah Answers Your Questions - Comparing the LG Dare & Samsung Instinct
Q. Hi, I saw your comparisons of the LG Dare and Samsung Instinct and I had some more questions about the two. I have some specific questions for the two phones that I'd like some answers to 1. Which touchscreen is better? Which is more responsive? When you're typing which screen works better?  I've heard ppl vouch for both sides so I'd like a good extensive opinion from an actual reviewer. 2. Which browser is better? Because I've...

Noah Answers Your Questions - Instinct video feature

Noah Answers Your Questions - Instinct video feature
Q. Hey Noah, just got a question for you about the Instinct. Sprit mentions on there site that you can see movies on the phone when side loaded in a Micro SD card and I was just wondering what the quality of this feature is and how does it work? A. Thanks for the message.  In one of my Instinct videos I showed a video that was loaded onto a microSD card and played back on the phone.  It works great - if you have a good quality...

Dare

First of all, STOP SAYING GET THE GLYDE! because the touch screen on that phone is so finiky and unresponsive!  But i would get the Dare because it is on the amazing Verizon Network, and i like the all around look better than the Instinct.  but then again it is a personal chioce. If you need a phone more for work (e-mail, calendar, etc.) then get the instinct, but if not, get the Dare.Hope this helps...

Re: LG Dare or Samsung Instinct

dont get either!               GET THE GLYDE!!!!!!

SamSung Instinct

Is the SamSung Instinct compatable with spiralfrog??

Re: LG Dare or Samsung Instinct

Personally, i would go for the LG Dare. Hands Down.  The camera isn't a big deal, but that is just another thing that makes it better.  The screen might be a bit smaller, but the is really crisp and clear on the Dare. I don't like the Instinct as much because it has a kind of metalic look to it. If i weren't in Canada, i would buy the Dare!!!

LG Dare or Samsung Instinct

I like both of these phones from the reviews on this site.  Is either a clear cut better phone then the other? The only advantage I have seen is the better camera on the Dare, but the camera is not that important to me.  I have to pick one of the two......which would you pick and why?  [H]

Re: Instinct vs Blackberry Curve,

Im guessing that your really not into the whole buisness aspect of the blackberry, but im just guessing. That is one of the main aspects of the Blackberry, it has always been know as a business phone, and that is how i will always look at them. If your just into texting and having fun go for the Instinct.

Instinct vs Blackberry Curve,

I am trying to decide which phone to purchase.  It's come down to the new Instinct or the Blackberry Curve 8330.  I like the touch screen but also like buttons.  Will I be able to download free games and apps for each device? . I want to be able to check email easily, surf a little(facebook, news etc), keep track of appointments and calendar, notes, How would playing word games work on a phone with no keyboard?  Any feedback...

Re: The NEW Samsung Instinct SmartPhone, IM, Email?

While I'm not 100% sure on the whole "Pocket Quicken", I can safely point you towards the HTC Mogul.   It may not be a real name-brand phone company, but from hands-on experience (I have a good friend who swears by this phone), the Mogul is probably the safest bet to go with. Its got a nice, full-sized touch screen, FULL fold-out QWERTY keyboard, and uses Windows Mobile 6.0 - the newest and latest version.  Because it uses...
