1) BlackBerry Curve. It's been around long enough to finally (depending upon how you get your OS upgrades) have a good, stable OS on it. The keyboard's hard to beat, and BB push e-mail is about as reliable as it gets. The 8320 on T-Mobile adds UMA calling. A great feature that provides calling via wi-fi, where you might otherwise have no cell signal at all.
2) BlackBerry Bold. IMO, a virtual tie for #1, except for it still be relatively new.
3) Apple iPhone. If it had a user replaceable battery, a landscape keyboard, and out-of-the-box ringtones that a person who doesn't spend all their time in a library could hear, I'd rate it as perhaps the best device ever. But, the battery and keyboard are deal-breakers for me. The browser is second to none though.
4) BlackBerry Storm. I suspect this device could eventually become #1 or #2, but right now, it's just too quirky.
5) T-Mobile G1. Finicky wi-fi, terrible battery life, mushy keyboard, a "chin" in the way of the keyboard, all add up to a disappointing experience. Nice OS though.
