If your looking for a messaging phone, with a great media player, i would suggest a new blackberry device. The media player is alot more refined and easier to use than the droid and cliqs. The keyboards on a blackberry are the best in the business nest to the touch pro2, you get a ton of apps, all the social networking, lot of community support, blackberries GREAT (BEST!) email solution. Maybe the tour on verizon, bold on at&t, tour on sprint, or the Bold 9700 on tmobile. Of the choices you have selected, the Iphone is the best. Its that simple. I hate the droid, but if youve read any of my posts about he droid, youll know what i think about it. I havent had any experience with the cliq, but i hear motoblur is pretty good. I would suggest that you stay away from verizon, as for THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF! They say they are the best, but i have better coverage with my at&t, even if it isnt 3g. I dont really care what you call it or how old it is, if i can call, text, and email, i dont care if its EVDO, RTT, Edge, or any other name you give it. No one will match apple as far devices go. I would stay awy from android, and verizon, but thats just me. I had verizon, and they didnt do what i was looking for, sprint didnt, tmobile didnt, alltel DID, but they are gone now, so i would go wth at&t. The bold, Iphone, tour on sprint/verizon are the ones i would go with. If you were going towards a RIM At&t or sprint/Verizon device, i would wait till a device with a trackpad came to them, because the blackberry trackball isnt very good, unless you have a new/green sticker device. The Essex/tour 2 will be coming 1st Quarter of 2010, and it will be a tour with a trackpad, and wifi, with a new processor, and browser preloaded on the device. The bold 2 on at&t and tmobile is a bold with a trackpad, and the new curve series has a trackpad with dedcated media keys, and wifi. But out of your selections THE IPHONE 3GS HANDSDOWN!
