Cleartel Residential Basic User Review
CleartelBy: Diane Prewett on Friday, April 15, 2005 From Macon (United States) Experience: 70 Days Cons: I signed up for a service that was to be $13.98 with auto pay by my credit card. Monthly charges were $25.00 and they never got the auto pay working. I received about 6 welcome to cleartel letters with magnets enclosed. I called each month and was told it was taken care of and to ignore past due notices. When I finally received a notice that the account had been turned over to collections, I made arrangements to go with another carrier. Summary: I do not recommend this company. They waste money sending out duplicate welcome letters with magnets and other promotional items enclosed. The customer service department was not able to get my credit card payments set up, even though they told me they had. I had to make numerous phone calls to try to remedy situation before becoming completely exasperated and changing companies. 26 out of 42 people found this review helpful
