Cleartel Residential Unlimited User ReviewOur Cleartel ServiceBy: Tommy Adams on Wednesday, January 26, 2005 From Leary (United States) Summary: Once the system got completely activated, we haven't had any problems. We were actually without long distance for almost a month during the transition. Almost everyone we call is a long distance call, so this was quite a delimna. Had we not had cell phones, we probably would have cancelled the order. We weren't able to get onto the internet either because the only local server was with Alltel (our former telephone service company). Needless to say, all of this made for quite an inconvenience! We were also a little shocked at the amount of the "other" charges. Our $39.95 plan became almost $55! This is still a little less than it was costing us with Alltel, but again, it was just a shock! Overall, since everything is finally up and running, we are fairly pleased with our service. Sincerely, Elizabeth Adams P.S. My mother-in-law is thinking about switching, but the fact that we were without long distance for almost a month is a real factor in her deciding. She lives alone and all of her immediate family (with us being the only exception) is long distance. My husband and I work where it would be long distance for her to call us when we aren't home, even on our cell phones! 28 out of 34 people found this review helpful
