REVIEW - The Simple plan offered by Cleartel is just that, Simple! This plan is great for someone who is looking for only dial tone at home and not all of the bells and whistles. If you are looking for features and unlimited local minutes we suggest seeing if Cleartel's Enhanced plan is available in your area. The Simple plan includes 1000 minutes of local calling a month (additional minutes are 1.9¢/min). Features are not included and can be added individually for an additional $4 each. Long distance charges are only 3.9¢/min for state-to-state calls, 6.9¢/min for regional calls and 6.9¢/min for in-state long distance calls.
CONNECTION INFORMATION - You can keep your existing phone number and transfer it to Cleartel without any interruption of service and free of charge. Cleartel will cancel your existing local phone service once the switch has been completed.
SPECIAL OFFER - A free month of service is offered for residential orders submitted. The free month of service will be provided in the 13th month, provided the residential customer remains on Cleartel for 12 consecutive months and is a residential customer in good standing at the end of 12 months.*
DSL SUBSCRIBERS - You cannot switch to Cleartel and keep your existing DSL service.
*During this promotion, customers will still be financially responsible for all Cleartel taxes and fees as well as any Long Distance measured usage which is not included in the enhanced and unlimited plans. Business/Commercial customers are not eligible.
It takes approximately 5 – 10 business days to hookup or switch service. You will receive a call from customer service to set up an appointment if you are receiving NEW service.
