REVIEW - In most areas of the country, this is a very good unlimited local and long distance plan. This plan includes unlimited local, in-state, and state-to-state calling within the lower 48 states. This plan also includes all the main phone features most customers want, including voicemail.
CREDIT NOTICE - Your order will only be accepted if you have outstanding credit. Z-Tel has a very strict credit verification process.
CONNECTION INFORMATION - You can keep your existing phone number and transfer it to Z-Tel without any interruption of service and with no hookup charges. Please allow 7 – 10 days for your service to transfer. Z-Tel will cancel your existing local phone service once the switch has been completed. No physical installation is needed, unless you do not have current phone service at your residence.
DSL SUBSCRIBERS - It is unlikely that you will be able to keep your DSL service and switch to Z-Tel. Z-Tel does not offer DSL internet access.
It takes approximately 5 – 10 business days to hookup or switch service. You will receive a call from customer service to set up an appointment if you are receiving NEW service.
