Voicemail is and extra $4.95/month and additional features are available. See STEP 2 of the sign-up form for pricing. All call blocking features are free, but have to be requested on the sign up form.
CONNECTION INFORMATION - You can keep your existing phone number and transfer it to Xchange Telecom without any interruption of service and free of charge. Xchange Telecom will cancel your existing local phone service once the switch has been completed.
ADDITIONAL LINE - Homes with two lines can opt for the "HomeXchange Basic" - $14.95 for the additional line (1 additional line only). No calling features or minutes are included with HomeXchange Basic (Local calls are billed at 6.9 ¢/minute).
DSL SUBSCRIBERS - You cannot switch to Xchange and keep your existing DSL service. Xchange offers DSL service for $24.95/month and a $19.99 shipping and activation charge will apply. Additional surcharges, taxes, and other fees apply. Early termination fee of $79 applies to one year plans. You may cancel within 30 days if not completely satisfied. Other terms and conditions may apply.
You can keep your phone number or receive a new number if you so decide. You will see an option to keep or receive a new number on the online sign-up form. This is called “Portability” and was made possible by the Telecommunications Act of 1996
