PhoneDog Expert ReviewREVIEW - OPEX was purchased by Total Call International (TCI) in mid 2008. TCI and Opex are still offering separate long distance calling plans as detailed below. After selecting this plan the correspondence between yourself and this company will reflect both company names Opex/TCI. This plan is an excellent choice for callers who generally make more than $20 a month in calls to avoid paying the $2 minimum usage fee. Many states have very low in-state rates as well. OPEX is a leader in quality and superior customer service in the long distance industry. The 0.99 cent monthly fee applies per telephone line. Each additional line after the main telephone number will be charged the same 0.99 amount.
PAPER Vs. EMAIL BILL - While you can choose to receive a Paper Bill in the mail each month, we recommend opting for the email version of the invoice. OPEX will waive the Minimum usage fee for all customers choosing the email version. Many companies are offering this additional benefit to reduce the costs associated with sending a physical bill in the mail. Receiving a paper bill from Opex will generate a fee of $1.99 per month.
NEW TOLL FREE RATES - Opex announced that starting December 2012 they are offering rates starting at less than one cent per minute. Monthly fee for toll free services is $3.99 or $5.99 for vanity numbers. The monthly fee can be waived if you use more than $5 a month in toll free calling charges. A one time set up cost of $9.99 will be charged or $14.99 for a vanity number.
Billing Increment: Domestic calls are billed in 6 second increments after the first 18 seconds (18/6 billing). All International calls are billed in 60 second increments. |
