OPEX Value Plus 2.7Overall Rating: By: G Raile on Thursday, April 13, 2006From: Hudson, WI (United States) Experience: 60 Days Pros: Low cost with little use.Cons: Confusing options on the company's web page and problems getting everything setup right when the Internet connection was dropped.Summary: In State calls are the best deal where I live. Once e-billing and auto pay are set the service seems fine. I am yet to get a bill for an international call I made. International rates are a little high but less trouble than other options I know about. 0 out of 3 people found this review helpful

OPEXOverall Rating: By: julie reeves on Thursday, April 13, 2006From: chesterfield, MI (United States) Experience: 4 Months Pros: Very good long distince rates, good customer service, easy to sign up. No minumun monthly fees. Cons: Haven't found any yetSummary: I recently switched over to OPEX, my last long distance carrier started charging a minumum usage fee if I didn't make over a certain number of calls/$$ per month. I don't make a lot of phone calls, why should I be charged for services other than what I use? There are plenty of people that use the phone constantly and carriers make lots of money from them! Not everyone fits into one bucket- I like that I get charged only for the service I use (what a concept). 2 out of 4 people found this review helpful

Opex Long DistanceOverall Rating: By: DONALD HARPER on Saturday, April 08, 2006From: PICAYUNE, MS (United States) Experience: 2 Months Pros: The transfer from another long distance company went through with no problems.Cons: Nothing negative.Summary: I had to change my local long distance after the initial sign-up. Opex helped me with that with no trouble at all. The only thing I had to do with the entire switchover was call my local phone company and inform them of the change. 3 out of 5 people found this review helpful

Long distance service inexpensive.Overall Rating: By: Kathleen Cole on Thursday, April 06, 2006From: Studio City, CA (United States) Experience: 5 Years Pros: Great value for the money. Very inexpensive. Cons: They have gone from paper bills to online bills and sometimes the email for payment doesn't arrive in a timely fashion. (Paper bills are now a charge.)Summary: I would recommend this company to anyone wanting to save money with their long distance. While the international voice quality is only "fair", the price is unbeatable. The domestic long distance is very affordable with very good voice quality. 5 out of 7 people found this review helpful
