OPEX Value Plus 2.95B service plan

Overall Rating:
4.7 out of 5
By: Shelly Anderson on Thursday, January 11, 2007
From: Two Rivers, WI (United States)
Experience: 86 Days
Pros: Very easy ro use with no limits

Cons: did not find any

Summary: I found and joined the Opex Long Distance phone sevice this past October; I have been very happy with my calling service and with the services that your people have provided me. Whenever there was a small problem, such as with my connection throught my local phone company to your service, your customer service people were friendly and willing to help me resolve the issues. Your rates are very reasonable and you do not have a ridiculous monthly fee, which is partly why I decided to sign up with your long distance company in the first place. I am so happy that I found you on-line!

OPEX LD

Overall Rating:
4.7 out of 5
By: Teo Eclarinal on Tuesday, October 17, 2006
From: Warrenton, NC (United States)
Experience: 3 Months
Pros: No Hype-Just long distance!
No Frills! Nothing I didn't order or want!

Cons: Local LD does NOT cover incoming calls (covered by local residential company)

Summary: Inexpensive, no-nonsense service! Easy to pay via web site. Statement is on par with major phone carriers. I recommend this service to anyone who wants or needs to keep household costs down. E-mails to customer service was answered within 1 hour. Try that with a major carrier!

OPEX Long Distance - Marty Wallace

Overall Rating:
5 out of 5
By: Martin Wallace on Wednesday, August 23, 2006
From: Dover, OH (United States)
Experience: 3 Months
Pros: Great Service at a Great Price

Cons: Haven't received a bill yet. Kind of wondering about that.

Summary: I don't have much to say. I've used this service before and liked it then and I like it now. The price is low and I get great quality service.

When my local provider calls asking if they can provide me with long distance service, all I have to do is ask them if they can beat this price. They say no, end of story, I don't have to listen to a stupid sales pitch and they haven't called back.

Opex

Overall Rating:
5 out of 5
By: Sam Stetzer on Monday, April 17, 2006
From: Cape Coral, FL (United States)
Experience: 4 Months
Pros: High quality audio, clarity of invoices and, of course, fantastic savings!

Cons: None.

Summary: This service has opened my eyes to the extent of gouging that the bigger and better know carriers are guilty of. We will be adding Opex to our home in New Jersey when we return for the summer. Please advise if cell phone service is available at this time. Thank you.

By: John Poltrock on Monday, March 13, 2006
From: Murphy, NC (United States)
Experience: 2 Months
Pros: Good pricing, online bill pay, best customer service!

Summary: Changed from MCI (THE WORST PHONE COMPANY EVER!), and have been thankful ever since. Better pricing that charges only when I use it. Best thing is I don't have to wait but for just a minute or two to get to a knowledgeable customer service rep. I recomend!

    Updated iPhone live TV app

Lots of great stuff happening for iPhone and iPod Touch users this week. The latest from Orb is no exception. But let's face it: The real star of the show is being able to watch live television streamed from your own computer to that...

Seriously? Riots?: NYers line up, wait, and get angry over BlackBerry Storm

    Storm Riots in NYC

What ever happened to try before you buy?  Hordes of CrackBerry addicts in New York City braved sub-freezing temperatures to line up before 6am this morning at Verizon stores in hopes of landing a BlackBerry Storm.  Lots of 'em apparently went home (or to the office) cold and angry, as VZW didn't have enough stock to meet the demand. So much for reading reviews and carefully considering new purchases in this time of economic...

The long-awaited, much-anticipated over-the-air podcast downloads are now available via the latest 2.2 firmware update for iPhone!I suffer from over-stimulation in New York City, and podcasts are my major meds. Southeast Asia: is mobile web use surpassing wired access?

SE Asia: mobile vs. wired web

The Norwegian creators of the Opera browsers said today that mobile Internet use seems to be surpassing wired access in much of Southeast Asia. And that in some areas, it's the standard means of access, rather than the alternative. You can check out their monthly State of the Mobile Web report here. Storm: Verdict? Disappointing

I really, really want to like Verizon's new BlackBerry Storm.  I want to love it.  Why?  Well, competition is good, and in the year and a half since the original iPhone launched, no other phone has been able to match the performance of its touchscreen or Web browser.  HTC's Touch Pro and G1, and Samsung's Epix and Eternity have impressed me as of late, but none of these devices offers the fingers-on touchscreen experience of...
