OPEX Value Plus 3.9C User Review
![]() Poor customer serviceOverall Rating: By: Sandie Gonzales on Wednesday, September 17, 2008From: Rosevill4e, CA (United States) Experience: 7 Years Pros: Good rates and phone line connectivity.Cons: Poor customer serviceSummary: OPEX is now part of Total Call. They shut off my long distance even though my check for $74 was in the mail. I have used them for 7 years and now they have lost me as a customer. I called c. service twice and no one could help me. I was promised a supervisor would call-still no response two days later. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful

OPEXOverall Rating: By: Linda Reynolds on Friday, August 15, 2008From: Odum, GA (United States) Experience: 10 Years Pros: Inexpensive and reliable.Cons: None.Summary: I've used Opex for about 10 years and have not found any problems at all. I've never had to call customer support so I don't know about that service. There are no hidden fees and the rates have not gone up. I am well pleased with this service. 2 out of 4 people found this review helpful
Would Not Recomend OpexOverall Rating: By: Tracey and Donna Flye on Monday, August 11, 2008From: White Pine, MI (United States) Experience: 2 Months Cons: Connected to TotalCall, can't pay on-line with checking account. Summary: Did not know they were connected to TotalCall, would not have picked them then. Couldn't pay my bill on-line or over phone with our checking account because they said the routing number or account number had TOO many numbers? And we were not going to use a different bank account Like we did with TotalCall and they took out 2 payments instead of one which caused $80.00 worth of bounce charges. 2 out of 3 people found this review helpful

Great prices and service.Overall Rating: By: Marka Harwell-Bentley on Tuesday, June 03, 2008From: Henderson, NV (United States) Experience: 6 Months Pros: Very easy, unobtrusive service.Cons: Took a long time to get Embarq to straighten out - maybe Embarq's fault.Summary: When we moved to Nevada, we had to pick a new carrier. PhoneDog was a great way to review all the services and OPEX has been like a silent partner, working great for our needs and cheap for our many international calls. 3 out of 7 people found this review helpful
OPEX Value Plus 3.9COverall Rating: By: Kenneth Breton on Thursday, May 08, 2008From: Mattawamkeag, ME (United States) Experience: 5 Months Pros: Great savingsCons: Haven't found any yet.Summary: I live in Mattawamkeag. I was paying $120-$130 monthly, on my long distance. Now with my new long distance company, OPEX Value Plus, at 3.9 cents a minute, my bills are around $40 a month. Almost $80-$90 a month savings!!! Super savings! 3 out of 6 people found this review helpful
Cheap But Not GreatOverall Rating: By: Karen Welch on Wednesday, May 07, 2008From: Hebron, IN (United States) Experience: 3 Months Pros: Cheapest plan out there.Cons: Long Distance calls don't show proper caller id information on the other end.Summary: The caller ID on the other end of long distance calls comes up either 000-000-0000, Unknown, Anonymous, Unavailable or the completely wrong information including a wrong town, name or number. Our local phone company says this is due to the fact the long distance phone lines are not updated. 3 out of 5 people found this review helpful
