Pioneer 2.7 Rate Buster User Review![]() Pioneer Rate Buster: service and great ratesOverall Rating: By: J T Nash on Monday, April 28, 2008From: Las Vegas, NM (United States) Experience: 4 Months Pros: Service has been excellent and personal on any questions. Long Distance rates are excellentCons: None so far; I wish Pioneer could be our local provider,Summary: After bad service and high charges from Qwest we looked for a new long distance carrier that would help us on our small volume of LD calls. Within days we were changed over--seamless at this end. We could not get a calling card from Qwest, or setup for LD calls while traveling; Pioneer did it quickly and clearly in one phone call. The real person on the phone, back in Maine, was totally helpful, and this is rare today. Very good plan, at least for us, with real service and low prices: highly recommended 3 out of 5 people found this review helpful

Pioneer TelephoneOverall Rating: By: Neal Parker on Thursday, April 24, 2008From: Richardson, TX (United States) Experience: 90 Days Pros: No hassle, easy to do.Cons: $10.00 one time service charge.Summary: Choosing this provider was a great way to get rid a monthly fee my existing provider charged whether I made long distance calls or not. Since we use a cell phone for all long distance calls this was a great way to get rid of a monthly fee while still having the ability to make a long distance call from the land line if needed. It lowered my bills for sure. 4 out of 8 people found this review helpful
Pioneer Telephone Rate BusterOverall Rating: By: James S. on Thursday, April 24, 2008From: Bloomington, IN (United States) Experience: 4 Years Pros: Very Affordable, Friendly, Great FeaturesCons: No cons Summary: I have been with Pioneer for 4 years and have had no problems what so ever. Switch over from your old long distance carrier is easy and the rates Pioneer has beats all other competitors soundly. Pioneer does not charge a "low usage" fee like some of the other carriers. Customer support is friendly if you have any questions. I highly recommend Pioneer Long Distance. 2 out of 6 people found this review helpful

Excellent service at an excellent valueOverall Rating: By: B C on Wednesday, April 23, 2008From: San Mateo, CA (United States) Experience: 5 Months Pros: You only pay out for what you use!Cons: I didn't sign up for Pioneer sooner!Summary: Great find! We were getting billed by MCI long distance for approximately $14/month to make about a total of 30 minutes average of local toll and long distance calls - which came out to add up to only about a couple bucks out of a $14 bill! We "got enlightened" and changed over to ATT long distance and paid approximately $5/month for those 30 minutes; again of which less than $2 was in the costs of calls made. Then we came across and switched to Pioneer. Our ATT landline costs is approximately $14/month and we still have OVER $6 on our original credit of $10 that we signed up with. I think of ALL that money we gave away to MCI..... 2 out of 4 people found this review helpful
