Excellent service at an excellent value

Overall Rating:
4.3 out of 5

From: San Mateo, CA (United States)
Experience: 5 Months
Pros: You only pay out for what you use!

Cons: I didn't sign up for Pioneer sooner!

Summary: Great find! We were getting billed by MCI long distance for approximately $14/month to make about a total of 30 minutes average of local toll and long distance calls - which came out to add up to only about a couple bucks out of a $14 bill! We "got enlightened" and changed over to ATT long distance and paid approximately $5/month for those 30 minutes; again of which less than $2 was in the costs of calls made. Then we came across and switched to Pioneer. Our ATT landline costs is approximately $14/month and we still have OVER $6 on our original credit of $10 that we signed up with. I think of ALL that money we gave away to MCI.....

Pros: I like the rate for long distance.

Cons: I can't pay by check in the mail, but do get a monthly paper statement.

Summary: Overall I like Pioneer long Distance service. I can call their toll free number and talk to a English speeking person when I have a problem insteal of someone in India who speaks very bad English that a person can hardly understand.

Cons: None so far.

Summary: Everything I have to say is above

Pioneer Long distance

Experience: 2 Months
Pros: So far they have kept their part of the bargain by keeping costs down. The small print however said htat if I missed a payment the rates would go up. Incentive to pay ontime.

Cons: Their billing is a little confusing at least at first but I'm getting used to it.

Summary: I think it's worthwhile shopping around for long distance carriers. I think this one uses Sprint but so far it seems to work for me.
