Great Rate and Good Service

Overall Rating:
4.2 out of 5
By: R Zink on Wednesday, November 19, 2008
From: Fairmont, NY (United States)
Experience: 2 Years
Pros: Easy billing, good service, good rate, I save money

Cons: Getting connected, had issue with my other company

Summary: I have been a customer for over 2 years and have had a really good experience. I had a little problem with my previous phone company switching. Total Call helped me out. Now my service has been up and running. It is easy to read the bill, I pay for what I use.

Worst customer service experience

Overall Rating:
1.8 out of 5
By: A C on Thursday, January 24, 2008
From: McLean, VA (United States)
Experience: 2 Years
Pros: * Low rates

Cons: * Horrible customer service

Summary: After being a customer for over 2 years I cancelled my service and had a credit owed to me. I have yet to receive a refund after almost 4 months of closing my account and fighting with customer service. Customer service has basically told me that my only option is to wait until they approve the refund. Miss a payment with this company and you will have fees added...cancel your account and expect your money returned...think again, they will keep and give you the runaround. Their actions are both dishonest and criminal.

Long Distance - Did you know?

Many people think using Calling Cards are less expensive than using regular long distance. How can this be? Don’t they have to pay for the usage of the same lines as everyone else? Sure they do, but calling card companies have become experts in marketing tactics!

Read the fine print of the calling card, they often charge for units, not minutes. A unit can be any measure of time they decide, plus they often have minimum call amounts and round up to the next unit. The bottom line is, they have done the math, and it’s going to cost most people more money than selecting a good long distance plan.
