TCI 3.0 Domestic Saver User ReviewStay far, far away!!By: Lisa Neumann on Tuesday, March 04, 2008 From Greenville (United States) Experience: 4 Years Pros: 6-second billing, used to have decent cs???Cons: cs don't speak English, incomprehensible billing, lots of runaroundSummary: My last bill with these people I can't even explain. The numbers didn't add up and it was literally 10 times what we usually pay. So I called them and was able to find out what happened. We accidentally bounced a check in January and there were several fees etc. related to that - not actually reflected on the bill. I paid the bill, but a few days later our long-distance was cut off. The number on the message was totally unrelated to the number we actually had to call... had to call several people before I found someone who could tell me what happened. I had no idea that our service would be cut off because I'd sent the payment in before the due date. The payment actually cleared the bank on the due date. I suspect that some of the past-due fees were due immediately or on a date other than the due date listed on the bill. When I tried to find out when service would be reinstated, the person I talked to did not understand the difference between "days" and "weeks." Anyway it didn't matter because now I'm here a week after the check cleared and I still don't have service. It appears they didn't notice until I called to complain... now they're saying 24-48 hours. Time to switch!! Sorry for the long story, but I would consider a different service. We had been very happy with TCI, but things have definitely gone downhill. 11 out of 20 people found this review helpful
