Unitel 2.5 User Review![]() Unitel--So Far So GoodOverall Rating: By: Ken Cornelius on Thursday, January 10, 2008From: Ann Arbor, MI (United States) Experience: 60 Days Pros: Phone service (connections, voice quality) has been excellent. Cons: Invoicing leaves something to be desired. If there is a way to see current period month-to-date activity, I cannot find it. Apparently one must wait until the end of a billing period to see what has occurred.Summary: Highly recommended. 22 out of 41 people found this review helpful
Uni-Tel Long DistanceOverall Rating: By: Jean Fellhauer on Wednesday, January 09, 2008From: Perrysburg, OH (United States) Experience: 2 Months Pros: CheaperCons: Charges are billed separate from your phone bill and the phone company charges you to use their service.Summary: Not as convenient, or as cheap, as I had hoped. 16 out of 36 people found this review helpful
Unitel 2.5 Long DistanceOverall Rating: By: KAREN SCHWEIZER on Wednesday, January 09, 2008From: LIVONIA, MI (United States) Experience: 2 Months Pros: Very reasonable pricing. Easy to switch. Good communication via e mail.Summary: I am very happy with them but I am probably going to switch my phone service to be through my cable co. to have it all on one bill - cable, internet, local/long distance. I don't think Unitel had local--only long distance--I wish I had used them sooner! I would keep them if I wasn't trying to have it all on one bill. Thank you! 14 out of 30 people found this review helpful

Another Long Distance Service!Overall Rating: By: Michael Walters on Wednesday, January 02, 2008From: Midland, MI (United States) Experience: 60 Days Pros: It was easy... A fair price, not the best price, didnt have to spend a lot of time setting it up.Cons: If I had more time to check around I think I could of made a better decission.Summary: I am totally not into discussing a topic that is of no particular interest to me. I would rather be driving my Harley or playing golf. Maybe a trip to my favorite party store to prepare for NCAA Chamionship Game. Go OHIO STATE! 17 out of 36 people found this review helpful

Great priceOverall Rating: By: Cory Dillon on Sunday, October 28, 2007From: tempe, AZ (United States) Experience: 60 Days Pros: We're again paying 4-5 cents a minute for international calls after Cox hijacked our service from the previous vendor and was charging $10 a minute! We're very happy with the service, too.Cons: NoneSummary: Do it. You won't be sorry. 11 out of 23 people found this review helpful
Unitel 2.5 service planOverall Rating: By: Steven Staley on Tuesday, October 23, 2007From: Indianapolis, IN (United States) Experience: 3 Months Pros: inexpensive; on-line bill pay allows no monthly service chargeCons: none so farSummary: I have had no complaints since signing up for this service. My long distance phone bill has went down and the on-line bill pay is very easy to use and since I went paperless there is no monthly service charge which is another great feature. 11 out of 18 people found this review helpful
Changeover from Global Crossing to QwestOverall Rating: By: Patricia Stoll on Monday, September 17, 2007From: Colorado Springs, CO (United States) Experience: 2 Years Pros: Cheap when it works.Cons: Unprofessional, no one at home minding the store, 2 months behind in billing, if you have problems over the weekend no way to even leave a message.Summary: I've given up and changed my father's long distance carrier. Not everyone has a regular computer to pay their bills. He pays by check. Unitel is over 2 months behind on their bills. They didn't send out any notification of this last change and just turned my 80-yr old father's long distance off and left it up to him to figure out what's wrong. Very unprofessional, uncaring, just plain WRONG! 19 out of 33 people found this review helpful
