"Not the most featured or biggest but most solid all around"

I have tried the 3GS,4,4S, 5 and now this current offering. I always went back to android. Not this time. While android continues to grow in size and features I get less excited. They are too big and feature packed. How's that bad you ask? Well I'm old enough to have come from the analog brick to this. I consider myself average size. The ideal size to me is 4.3 inches. Find a real flagship device in that size. My LG G, and galaxy 3 both were too big and so feature packed I felt like I needed a special training course to appreciate it. I had connection issues with both just like the iPhone 5. The call quality on speaker and car Bluetooth was average at best. That led me to the 5S. It is a hair small but the screen is bright and easy to read. The keyboard on the iPhone is still the best. It is designed to be a phone first. The camera is great. So in its lack of new features and smaller size I have found a solid combination of user friendly happiness.

The iPhone "S" model may now be the iPhone "s" model, but that doesn't mean a lot has changed. We're still on Apple's storyboard here, and we're still subject to the bi-yearly upgrade that doesn't change more than... more...
