Awesome Phone!

Posted on: February 25th, 2010 by TOMMY SMITH

The good: Features, Speed, Facebook and other Social Networking Apps, Messaging, and Theme/Settings Diversity. The bad: Battery Life, Freezes OccasionallySummary: I've had a Samsung TouchScreen, RAZR, RAZR 2 V9M, MOTO Clutch, and several other phones, and by far, this beats them all. I loved having a touch screen but they freeze alot and scratch so easily, so they are really aggravating. This phone definetly makes up for it with its large screen, great QWERTY keypad, scrollball, and features. All-in-all, I would recommend this phone to anyone (including experienced smartphone users and the beginners who have never owned one). It does freeze up occasionally when you overuse it or bind it down with several apps running at once, and sometimes restarts itself. The app memory could be increased greatly, but it's fair. And the battery life is ok but not outstanding. But....as long as you are not using it and keep it on the "standby" mode, the battery lasts great...where I work, I'm under a steel reinforced ceiling with concrete overlay, which means that I can hardly get any signal inside and the phone has to work overtime to achieve a signal, which severely drains battery lift. So, I keep mine on standby mode while at work, and when I leave, it's almost completely full. When off of standby mode, it still has over half of the battery life left when I get out of work. The features of the phone are awesome...Facebook works pretty good and looks cool, as well as Myspace, Email, and the Blackberry Internet. Ringtones also sound great and the camera is definetly a plus with a great flash. So, overall, this is a great phone with alot of good awesome features and pretty good battery life!PS. I have Boost Mobile and purchased my Blackberry through them on the $60 per month prepaid plan. It works great! Also, as for the couple of people who were on here complaining about their phone freezing up (even after them and their family members have tried several of them), are overexaggerating greatly. They have probably downloaded several apps and ignored the warning message that comes up saying "your application memory is almost full, please select an app to remove" If you ignore those, your phone will restart and freeze all the time because it has no memory left to run your apps.

The good: screen bright, battery lasts, types nice, lots of featuresThe bad: freezes whenever, have to take battery out to reset, keyboard stops, mouse ball sticks, memory card under batterySummary: I have been through 3 of these in less than a year for the freezing & other problems of the same sort. that is of my own actually am ready for the 4th one. my family has had problems with everyone they have had & have went through seven in less than a year. very unreliable

A dream come true!!

Posted on: October 30th, 2009 by Peter Johnson

The good: SO MANY DIFFERENT FEATURES!! STYLISH!!The bad: The battery life isn't so long. HARDEST phone to learn to learn to use!!Summary: This is my first smartphone and I find it very good for a first time smartphone buyer. I was recently (regretfully) using the Sanyo S1. I learned to use this phone all beacause of the exsistence of youtube! This phone is amazing though! I have the Everything Data 1500 min. plan with Sprint. Which makes a phone VERY useful!! Anyway, this is a great smartphone and I totally recommend it!!

Best Phone I've ever had

Posted on: May 30th, 2009 by Dave Farris

The good: QWERTY keyboard that's accurate,Fast Texting,Clear Camera,Long Battery Life. The bad: It takes a while to charge from a dead battery but I can't really complain.Summary: I've had Motorolas,LG's,Nokias,Palms, and this phone kills them all.I have put this Curve through the paces and it handled everything I threw at it.I have not had any of the Lag problems the other reviewer wrote about on here.I get all my texts, pics and video with instant speed.I can only guess he's at the borders of his service provider.I have Sprint and it rocks with all of the Sprint Mobile features.GPS is dead on and the lady who could not adjust her ring volume just needs to go to the Profiles Icon (Little speaker) and select from there. It's easy.I suggest getting the Body Glove hard rubber protective case for this phone. You'll love it.

Wasn't completely happy

Posted on: May 10th, 2009 by L R

The good: Messaging is fast, web browsing and email are great! Having everything at your fingertips at all times and pretty much anything you can do on a PC you can do on this made it wonderful. There are tons of applications out there that will fit everyones needs. The bad: System freezes/locks to where you have to reset the phone. Any problems you have with the phone isn't usually dealt with in the store which means they have to send you a replacement or talk with you over the phone which means more down time with a problem phone. Updates for these phones are done at home on a PC and can be very time consumingSummary: Although there were a lot of great features, I stopped using mine because of dependability. The system froze a lot and I'd have to take out the battery and "reboot" it. Once or twice is ok, 5-10 times a day was not. I ended up going through 3 phones and many reprograming and after 8 months of dealing with this, I went back to a normal phone.

The good: texting is easy; and fast. big, bright display, good features. The bad: keypad sometimes tends to not work, or misses the most important letters in a message. there is a very bad lag. sometimes the messaging goes out and I have to reset the phone.Summary: other than the cons I would recomend this phone to anyone! The good: Full qwerty, full html browser, media center, 2mp camera, full smart phone features. The bad: When going to some webpages will freeze up and continuously spin the hour glass on and off even out of the browser so you have to do a cold reset (just take the battery out and replace it).Summary: Awesome phone need i say more, blackberry always on top of the game.

Loved everything about it

Posted on: August 7th, 2008 by Tommy G

The good: Easy to use, good sound quality, decent call sound, very useful in almost any situation. The bad: MicroSD slot is under the battery, buttons take a little getting used to.Summary: I was really looking forward to getting this in the mail and i'm glad i did. It has alot of subtle features that make everything simple. Like when you're texting and you want to end a sentence you just press space twice, and then it auto capitalizes for you. Some features are a little confusing but you just have to navigate a menu or two and you'll figure it out eventually
