John's BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 review
At a Glance What’s Good: surprisingly music-friendly; external play/pause button; stereo bluetooth, standard headphone jack; UMA capable; unique form factor; slick new BB interface; more compact than other BlackBerries ; still has the BB office apps that keep executives aboard, but feels like a fun phone. What’s Not Good: no GPS; weak web browsing; some lag here and there. Bottom Line: If you're looking for a strong messaging device that works with a variety of communications... more...

"I will never buy a blackberry ever again"
The good: music player works nicely, track ball is smoothThe bad: blackberry customer service is awful, scratches easy, breaks easy, freezes easy, phone volume is not good, t9 word choice is strange (it doesnt adapt to how you type), no way to change message ringtone, sometimes changes phone ringer on its own and the time, battery life sucks, i have never had this phone last close to a whole year.Summary: I bought this phone about a year and 6 months ago and it is the worst phone ive ever had. Ive had to replace it twice already which took me about a week o do because the blackberry ppl wouldn't just replace the thing. i was even willing to pay any fees and they still tried to avoid it. i once spent about over 6 hours on the phone tryin to get them to realize that the programming on it was screwed up and they were trying to tell me i dropped it. which i never did they didnt even have the phone so how would they know. it tends to do things on its own with out you doing anything, its constantly freezing and dying and i can never hear anyone when im on it. the battery dies fast so charge often and thats with out bluetooth on. for me set up was easy and fast to get used to but after you set it up it will randomly change things you did on its own. recently i cant even send or receive anything from messages to calls. its just there to hold numbers
