Aaron's HTC Droid Eris review
Overview What's Good: Sense UI, great reception, and responsive touchscreen. What's Bad: Laggy performance at times, and battery life could be better. The good: customization, open source, HTC Sense UIThe bad: Battery life (what's new?)Summary: I've had this phone for about a 3 weeks and love it. I recently upgraded it to Android 2.1 and love it even more. I have a tethering app and have customized it so that my laptop is an accessory to it and NOT vice versa, as this phone has all the functionality of a pc. I have recommended it to a friend who was all set to get the MOTO Droid...he did get the moto droid and then exchanged it for this when he saw what it was made of. I recommend the upgrade, it's simple and makes the most of this phone, sense UI is perfect with 2.1, but out of the box, this phone still rocks and even without the upgrade I was still very happy with it. I'm a geeky girl, love my gadgets and this phone meets my cravings for things that go blip.
