The good: -Android OS is simply outstanding! From the browsing experience to the Android Market, there isn't a shortage of great things it can do!


-Maybe I'm in the minority, but I like the look and feel of the phone. It wasn't as bulky and heavy as I thought it would be, and it's comfortable to hold, type, and to carry around. I really like the slide out qwerty keyboard, and I'm getting used to the virtual keyboard. I didn't think I would like touch screen, but I find myself using it more and

The bad: -The music player layout. This is probably me nitpicking, but I'm not a fan of the music player. It sounds fine, but the layout isn't as smooth as, say tcpmp (the player I used on my previous phone). It's something that doesn't bother me too much, though.


-The battery life. Although it's a LOT better than I expected, I wish HTC would have included a longer lasting battery for those of us who use this phone while on the go a lot. I am going to purchase one of those extended batteries f

Summary: Overall, I love the G1! I've had it for a few days, and I'm very happy with my purchase! I cannot express how awesome the Android OS is! The phone part itself (funny how we forget that sometimes) is nice. I've had no problems on that end. If you're looking for a smart phone that won't drain your wallet, consider the G1. If anything, you'll fall in love with the Android OS!
