"Best phone I've ever used"

I pre-ordered the HTC One through AT&T and I've had the phone for a few days now. Obviously the design is absolutely stunning. Coming from an iPhone 4S, there were things I didn't like about the phone, but the design I always thought was second to none (except maybe the iPhone 5). The One blows it out of the water! Not only is the design incredible, but the full HD screen only adds to the beauty of this device. The size takes a bit of getting used to, coming from a 4S, but I think the slightly longer, narrower display feels better in the hand than say, the Galaxy S3's shorter, fatter display. The phone is incredibly fast, taking no time at all to load apps (it loaded a Netflix video faster than any device, computer or otherwise, that I've ever used, not to mention the playback was fantastic). Calls so far sound better than those on the 4S, and other devices I've used, and so far I haven't lost service anywhere (but I'm in Austin and coverage is pretty good). As far as battery life goes, it got me through 2 days easily, with fairly heavy texting and other use, so no complaints there. There are a few little gimmicks with Sense 5 that Aaron has mentioned before that are a bit weird, but once you know about them it's fine.
Overall this phone is amazing, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a new smartphone! HTC did a killer job!

If you're a fan of the latest flagship devices but aren't necessarily a fan of the size, you might be happy to know that it's been a growing trend lately to include a "mini" version of the same flagship device that we know and love. But of course, with a smaller phone you can probably guess that you will come across some sacrifices made in order to make creating such a device possible. It might be the same device in body, but is it really the same device on the inside that made it a... more...
