Schmackdown! HTC Rezound vs. LG Spectrum

What do you do when there's a new kid on the Verizon block? Why, you shove it into a Wirefly Schmackdown with one of the strongest phones around. That's what happened with the new LG Spectrum, as Wirefly's Bob Kovacs tests it against the HTC Rezound. When these two slug it out in the Schmackdown ring, which will come out the winner?

Schmackdown! HTC Rezound vs. Samsung Galaxy Nexus

They don't get any hotter or more powerful than the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and HTC Rezound smartphones, both for Verizon Wireless. So how do these two powerhouse phones compare against each other? Wirefly's Bob Kovacs shoves them into the Schmackdown ring and has them duke it out to see which one is declared the winner.

Camera Schmackdown! HTC Rezound vs. Samsung Galaxy Nexus

The HTC Rezound and Samsung Galaxy Nexus are two powerful phones with many different aspects to compare and contrast. Many people have asked how the cameras compare in these two phones, so this Wirefly Schmackdown focuses on the two cameras and shows both still images and video.

HTC Rezound vs. Samsung Epic 4G Touch - Internet Speed Test

Internet download speeds really jumped when 4G phones were launched. So how does the download speed for Sprint's WiMax 4G network compare to Verizon's LTE 4G network. Lately, we've seen mixed results, so Wirefly's Bob Kovacs put two phones on his desk and ran the test.

Schmackdown! Motorola DROID RAZR vs HTC Rezound

Two big phones with big performance and even bigger features -- which one will be standing at the end of a Wirefly cell phone Schmackdown? The Motorola DROID RAZR goes butts heads with the HTC Rezound, both top-of-the-line phones for Verizon. One is declared the winner... will you agree? Wirefly's Bob Kovacs guides the round-by-round action.

Schmackdown! HTC Rezound vs iPhone 4S

The HTC Rezound is the top of the top when it comes to both display and sound, with its true HD 720p display and Beats Audio Technology. Yet everyone wants to know how it compares to the new iPhone 4S. So how does it compare in a Schmackdown? Wirefly's Bob Kovacs guides the round-by-round action.

Schmackdown! HTC Rezound vs. Samsung Epic 4G Touch

The HTC Rezound for Verizon and the Samsung Epic 4G Touch are probably the two most powerful and feature-rich Android phones available as of this writing. Therefore, it's reasonable to compare the two, as Wirefly's Bob Kovacs does in this Schmackdown. Only one of these two can be the winner, so which one will it be?

HTC Rezound Review

The HTC Rezound for Verizon Wireless combines power with art, emphasizing its beautiful 720x1280-pixel display and Beats audio technology together with its 1.5GHz dual-core processor and 32GB out-of-the-box storage space. With Verizon's 4G LTE network, the Rezound can download content from the Internet as fast as it can process a file or shoot 1080p HD video.

In this video, Wirefly's Bob Kovacs runs the HTC Rezound through its paces, and demonstrates the phone's camera and video playback capability.

HTC Rezound Unboxing

The HTC Rezound 4G for Verizon pushes back the smartphone boundries in a couple of ways: It is the first phone to come with a display that has the resolution of 720x1280 pixels, and it is the first phone to include iBeats headphones in the package. On top of that, it has a steaming-fast 1.5GHz dual-core processor, Verizon's speedy LTE 4G network, as well as a host of other features to make it an audio and video powerhouse. In this video, Wirefly's Bob Kovacs unboxes the Rezound and shows what comes in the standard retail package.

Amazing phone for value!!

Posted on: August 6th, 2012 by Anonymous

This phone has the best display on the market with a pixel density of 342 Pixels Per Inch (PPI). Not only for phones but ALL mobile devices. It has a better display than the brand new Macbook Pro!! In the box you get $100 beats headphones for free, 4G LTE, and it's an HTC so build quality is amazing. Also HTC Sense is loaded on there and with the new Ice Cream Sandwich update the phone runs smooth as silk with it's dual core 1.5Ghz processor. Even though its been out for a while, there is no phone that can go near its display today. Plus you get a nice price drop because its been out for so long:)

One of the Best Smartphones offered by Verizon.

Posted on: July 13th, 2012 by Hank S. Christy

I have had the HTC Rezound since April of 2012. Before the Rezound, I owned an LG Ally and a Droid 3. The Ally was impossible to break, and the Droid 3 was a miserable fail. I took a leap of faith getting the Rezound, the Verizon employees were trying to shove the RAZR down my throat. I chose the Rezound because of its beautiful display, 1.5 GHz processor, and its overall appeal. I wasn't aware that it came with iBeats (which were stolen anyway). The HTC Rezound has been a solid device. It has a very reliable battery, even with the standard battery. The screen is amazing, it doesn't over-saturate images like most Samsung devices do. It displays them beautifully. Even better than the iPhone. Although I am still anxiously awaiting the arrival of Android 4.0 (ICS), and Sense 3.6, that doesn't affect my overall thoughts about the device. This phone is amazing and I will not upgrade until it dies.
