"Mostly under-rated, but some problems"

I had this phone for 6 months but recently upgraded thanks to T-Mobile's JUMP program. When I got it in Feb 2014, I was plenty happy with my choice. Best screen outside of perhaps AMOLED, and so much in a tight body was great. I liked the back buttons. The camera was strong and capable of some amazing detailed shots. Sound output was ok but easy to cover up. In games, the soft buttons were in the way a lot. It had excellent or horrible battery life depending on what was going on. I felt the... more...

"Awesome screen with a Compact Design"

I had the G2 D801 ever since October and bought it over phones like Note 3 and 5s which had similar or same price. Now it's dropped so its the best bang for your buck better than Nexus 5. It has a awesome 5.2 inch screen with a really compact design and you will get used to back buttons display quality is top notch but in sunlight it does become a bit hard to read text. Battery life is really good but T-Mobile version still has a Bluetooth battery drain issue that they have not fixes yet so its... more...

"Known Manufacture Defect on Batch. Reason for lower score."

Even though the display is sharp, clear and high resolution, a known defect for a certain batch is that .5 inch edge to edge section near the top becomes completely unresponsive to touch. LG doesn't admit this and requires you to pay to have it shipped to Texas for testing. Even though by the IMEI they know your phone is one of those in the batch. A customer loses the use of their cell phone for a few weeks. This is a major customer support catastrophe. Out side of that, the phone's quad... more...

I have been long time iphone owner, but also switch to android and have always gone quickly running back to iphone after being underwhelmed by the Samsung S series I have owned several of but this phone has hands down been the best phone I've ever owned.

"Great phone, KitKat refined it."

My original G2 was with AT&T. I really liked it, it worked great. The KitKat upgrade vastly improved the battery life. I recently ported over to T-Mobile and have the G2 with them. Again, KitKat vastly improved the battery life. I am a heavy radio streamer using a wireless bluetooth headset. The phone performs very well. My iPhone 5 would never make it through a day, I had a mophie battery for that to get me through the day. The G2 easily pummels the iphone5 battery life.

"great phone compared to the price"

The only gripe is the battery, which although it has a 3000mah is not as durable and is full-time and two times a day

"One of the best!"

I love my phone I switched to my LG G2 from a Motorola Droid Razor Maxx hd. I must say this phone kicks ass! I think it blows my old one out of the water! Just don't get it with Sprint.

"Total Awesomeness "

Before i get onto praising the efforts of LG with this magnificent phone, i would like to comment on the fact that i am coming from iPhone and Samsung, leaders in their own rights. My most recent phone was Note 3 which was equally brilliant and giving it up was a very hard decision. thankfully i never had to regret my decision as LG is with me for last couple of months and m running outta all the excuses to swap it with something else...lets say the ALL NEW HTC ONE perhaps.....
