OK - But not Great

Posted on: June 29th, 2009 by M. Kelly

The good: Nice appearance - Keypad is consistent with previous Motorola Keypad. Can change some of the defaults. The bad: Music Button keeps getting pressed.Hard to take a good Picture with it.Summary: I know it's a phone not a Camera - but it takes really bad pictures for a 2 MB pixel camera.Holding it less than a rock steady results in a fuzzy picture. No setting for indoor/outdoor light. No shutter adjustment for action photo - like someone running in a race or kayaking. Or even a Deer walking alongside the car turns out fuzzy. The Music button was always getting pressed - and since I don't ever plan on using it for music - and it can't be Progammatically disabled (Hint for a new feature) I carefully put a drop of super glue on each edge. All the volume settings should be in one place for the ringer, the ear piece, etc.

Best PTT for Verizon

Posted on: September 8th, 2008 by ed burns

The good: Size, Build, Signal, ClarityThe bad: Should Come with HolsterSummary: This is the best PTT that Verizon offers. The speakers, earpiece and external are clear. The signal strength is great as is the screens, clear and bright. The build quality of the phone is fine and should last for years.Highly recommended from a long time user, not a one day complainer!

Great Phone

Posted on: August 13th, 2008 by Don Johnson

The good: Speaker Phone, Display, Camera, MP3 player. The bad: Nothing majorSummary: For the reviewer who tried to put the battery cover on must be only once...It does sit flat you just have to push the sides of it a little harder than what is normally comfortable. Also he complained about the plug covers, they DO feel cheap but they are pretty strong actually. I had a Moto W385 and LOVED IT! This phone is a VERY good replacement. The battery life is about 4 or 5 days with about 1 hour talk time each day and about 15 messages in that 5 day time. That would be the only thing I would consider a con, if you want a phone to last a week or more this prolly wont do it. Feels very rugged, front buttons for your MP3 playback! Inside display is AWESOME! Highly recommend this phone for sure.
