"Great phone by Motorola"

I haven't had a Motorola phone, since the days of the StarTac. However, with Motorola not being on my top list, Samsung and HTC being on the top tier, I thought I would give the Atrix HD a try. For the price of $50 fro Best Buy, I just couldn't pass it up. As many have said, the Atrix HD is the closest thing to stock Android ICS, and I loving every minute of it. Yes, there is a slight learning curve from GB to ICS, but it's not all that hard to figure out. As much as my older Infuse 4G was crashing, the Atrix HD ran very, very, very smoothly. Apps just work, and opens up very quickly. Heck, I thought I was OK with the Infuse's HSPA+, I'm flying with the Atirix's LTE wireless. Only thing that is bothering me is that the battery is not user removable. As it's the latest form factor from Motorola, it's not a RAZR MAXX. That being said, it has an average battery life, and will last you the day with moderate usage. Of course, the more you would use the Atrix, the more you're going to need a charge.
Love the display, as it is saturated in color, and the camera is better than average. I would give more points to HTC or Samsung for their cell cameras.
Call quality is good, for the limited time I actually made a phone call. Haven't dropped a call yet, but I do get good reception wherever I go. Speaker is loud and clear, its fine, as any Android phone is, for music and video.
The 'HUMP', at the top where to camera/speaker are located, is alittle awkward, but I get used to it.
Even with it's Gorilla glass and Kevlar backing, I still intend to wrap a case and screen protector on it. As much as I like the Infuses, I love the Atrix HD and, hopefully, can keep it for the full two years of my contract. =) Just my two cents.

Motorola Atrix HD Written Review by Taylor

Motorola Atrix HD Written...
We go through a lot of phones here at PhoneDog, and the Motorola Atrix HD for AT&T is definitely one the more interesting handsets. On the inside, it hosts some of the more common high-end specifications, yet it doesn't bear a huge price tag. For $99.99 with a two-year agreement, the Motorola Atrix HD is a great deal. That said, it's up against some stiff competition, and the holiday season will surely bring some serious competitors. Should the Atrix HD be your next smartphone?... more...
