Impressive Product

Posted on: October 25th, 2010 by Anonymous

The good: Great qualityThe bad: Really small Summary: This phone is too adorable. It is really simple to use and has really great coverage. I personally love it's small size because it fits in my pockets or purse easily without bulging out. It has cool features and a really nice color display. Plus the Tracfone service gives back big savings and has nationwide coverage. Definitely think this phone is worth giving a shot!

Solid basic phone

Posted on: February 17th, 2008 by Rin Foster

The good: Nice shape, screen low resolution but bright and attractive, Durable, SIM card slotThe bad: Keys are acceptable but not the best. Quiet earpiece. Phone takes almost a minute to boot up. No web applicationSummary: I liked the pill-shaped body and the screen is easy to read from a distance. I found it a bit hard to hear calls; the volume cannot be turned up very far.

No knowledge of messages

Posted on: November 13th, 2007 by Harry Crawford

The good: nice and dinkyThe bad: you have no knowledge of an incoming message if you have a menu upSummary: The phone design is ok. but it is not very fancy. but if you have a menu up, you dont know when u have had a message. the only sign is a message icon.

Not so good

Posted on: November 5th, 2006 by Anonymous

The good: it is not easy to break. The bad: no camera, back scratches easily, and it dosn't have the net.Summary: I got this phone this summer in 2006.I loved it at first, but it got old fast. I would't recommend getting it again if mine actually broke. The ringtones suck, and you can't get new one's.

The motorola c139 is a nice simple cell phone stylish easy to use with the exception of menu navigation which I found confusing but aren't most of them that way. A good value or the money.

motorola c139 review

The good: small size, ease of use, good battery usage, cheap priceThe bad: limited upgradability, no camera, no mp3Summary: I bought my motorola c139 tracfone about 2 weeks ago for $20 with 20 units of usage and another 180 units with a referal and bonus units. the phone is a small candybar design and is cheap and simplstic. it has a few games and features basic security and text messaging as well as changable wall paper and ring tones ,screen savers and phonebook, call waiting, caller id,notepad, voicemail, stopwatch, calculator, currency converter, datebook and other extra and standard features. it has good battery usage and ok sound.the reception is good as far as I can tell and I have yet to experience any dropped calls.it uses a sim card and even though mine is configured as a tracfone can be bought unlocked to be used in any gsm phone provider. I would recommend this phone for a first or basic phone for someone on a budget.

C139

The good: Color screen, easy to use.The bad: Too small, menus a little confusing.Summary: I like this phone except it is a little small for someone that has fat fingers. The menus are some times hard to figure out and I don't like that the display does not stay on so that I can see what time it is.

My experience with the C139

Posted on: September 25th, 2006 by Josh Barwick

The good: MyMenu feature, keypress ringtone capability, backlight "lantern" feature. The bad: Process of setting alarmSummary: All in all, this is a solid phone. The MyMenu feature is especially handy. It creates shortcuts for regular menu items so you don't always have to go through all the various other menus just to find it. They next Pro is the keypress ringtone capability. I'm sure most phones these days already have this, but it's still fun nonetheless. With it, you can create a ring tone by pressing the keys. One major advantage to this, is that you don't have to pay a charge for downloading tones. You can just find the notes and enter them in. Now the niftiest of all the Pros; the backlight "lantern". In my opinion, it's kinda useless, but seeing as it doesn't necessarily "hurt" the phone, I thought it'd be good to mention it. All it does, is take everything off the screen, leaving it blank. So, all you have now is a clear, white screen. The brightness is virtually the same compared to the screen when it has the main menu or such on it. For my one and only Con; the dang alarm. It's not even under the index of the instruction book on how to set it. I just happened to decide to read through it to know how to operate most everything on the phone, and found out how to set the alarm. Basically, you just make an event on your calendar, and say if you want the alarm to go off or not. It sounds pretty simple. But you have to go through lots of stuff in order to do all that. But like I said, it's all in all a good phone. I would recommend it for sure.
