The Motorola CLIQ 2 is the first device from CES to hit shelves and one of the better mid-range Android devices we've got our paws on here at PhoneDog. It isn't the most exciting device of 2011, but it is a good phone with great build quality. The CES devices are starting to trickle in! The Motorola CLIQ 2 arrived last week, and it's an upgrade from the original device. Offering a 1 GHz processor, 3.7-inch display, physical QWERTY keyboard, Android 2.2 with MOTOBLUR, and a 5-megapixel camera, it's a nice mid-range device. Here come the CES 2011 devices! The Motorola CLIQ 2 is in the house, and it's a huge upgrade to the original device. Sporting a 1 GHz processor, 3.7-inch display, physical QWERTY keyboard, Android 2.2 with MOTOBLUR, and a 5-megapixel camera, it's a nice mid-range device. "AB SO LUTE JUNK!!!"
Avoid this phone. The hardest thing to do with this device is to answer or make a phone call. I have to click away several screen, or the screen wont even light. I'm glad I bought the hand set warranty because I have replaced it THREE TIMES for similar issues. Second replacement burnt down a fully charged battery in 2 1/2 hours and stayed hot as a $2 pistol. Screen response is slow, requires reboots (battery flop) just to clear its head. T Mobile refused to give me a equal replacement be cause... more...
