Back to my Old Phone

Posted on: July 5th, 2010 by melanie ann

I am a teen who got this phone because it didn't need a data plan but after having it for a mere two months I just couldn't get used to it. If you're planning on using this phone for texting purposes - do NOT buy it. You can't text at a normal rate on it because it gets your words all messed up since it didn't catch all of the letters you typed. Also, while you are in call it touches your face and you hang of mute the person...not cool if you didn't know what happened and are left talking to nobody! Also, if you can deal with all of the other stuff then the only pro I had was that the music stayed on out of app. My old phone didn't do that. But, I went back to that phone!

A piece of crap.

The good: 0The bad: Everything. Summary: Everytime I try to touch the screen to unlock it, it doesn't want to unlock and I end up lossing calls. This is bull, for the price that we pay for these cell phones you would think that they would work better then they do.

The good: looks good, talking on the phone is very clear, typing isn't that hard on the touchscreen, solid construction. pictures from the camera in daytime look very good. The bad: my first battery gave up on me 1month and 4 days after getting it. I got a new one and it seems to be working. touchscreen is incredibly choppy under normal conditions, but it freaks out and lags when you get a text message, definitely not a good phone for someone who gets texts all the time. the phone would probably burst into flames. camera has no exposure adjustments whatsoever, so taking pictures in dark or dimly lit rooms is impossible. also the predictive texting is the most retarded oSummary: As a phone, its very good. as a music player, it sounds good. As a camera, its only good in the daylight. If you buy it primarily for texting, you will probably hate it.

The good: no internet purchase needed for touch screenThe bad: types whatever it wants, then clicks end and send. freezes. buttons to WHACKOSummary: This is a terrible phone. I'm on my second one, and taking it back for good today. Whenever I try to text, it pushes "lkjsdlkfjlkjdf??dfjo" and clicks send. It's really embarassing. Also, sometimes it freezes and calls can't be answered and texts can't be read.

The good: great battery life, decent signal, decent web browser, alarm clock is great. The bad: moisture touch screen, hangs up if U touch ur face accidently, alot of strokes to send a text, wont read photos off a mem cardSummary: most sensative screen is the biggest issue, hands have to be dry, no gloves or else the screen goes crazy. Still can't get photos to read on the phone, can't find out how either. Noone seems to know. Too many Q&A when u want to send a text. Keep the phone away from ur face when u talk, u'll end up ending call or muting.

The good: Good for texting, nice pedometer, touch screen works wellThe bad: Hangs up and mutes callersSummary: The Motorola Crush is a nice phone at first glance and first few uses, however, my husband and I both own the phone and are taking them back. If you are in a call the screen does not lock and often I hang up on people or mute them if I move while talking.

Not impressed

The good: Touch screen, data plan not required, qwerty keyboard pretty accurateThe bad: It's a moisture sensing touch screen - can't use when wearing gloves, can't customize main screen, can't handle much at one time, only holds 100 texts in inboxSummary: I got this phone a month ago from us cellular. I had an lg scoop and went through a lot with that one - but after dropping the phone in the sink I had to get a new phone asap. I got the motorola crush and at first I liked it, but had a hard time getting used to the screen. A month later I still can't get used to the screen. I used to love texting and now it's just a hassle half the time. It takes about 4 or 5 steps just to send a text. Plus if you're texting and get an incoming text it slows the phone down and you have to stop what you're doing and wait for it to catch up. Also whenever i'm talking to someone it sounds like a number is being pushed so I get that beeping in my ear all the time - but the person on the other line doesn't hear it. The other day I was on the phone and it hung up on the person I was talking to, I looked down at the phone and it started going through and pushing every button on the screen and typing things in - even though I was not touching the screen at all. I did this until I restarted it. It has done this a few times. I have my phone set to remember new words on texting .. but it doesn't. It also chooses odd words before normal ones on the itap setting. For example if I wanted to type 'just' it would bring up something weird like 5tsu instead??Returning the phone today, I can't deal with this for a year and a half .. think i'm going to go back to an lg
