Problem Phone

Posted on: September 21st, 2010 by chris nord

The good: I have this phone for about 10 month. It is small and great when it works. The bad: It just turns totally off sometimes. On some days it turns off about 20 times and on other days not at all. Also, sometimes it gives me an echo. Now it stopped ringing, it only vibrates. I went to the store and they couldn't helpSummary: I am getting a replacement and hope it works. Wouldn't buy it again.

Dislike!

Posted on: February 9th, 2010 by Keisha Mueller

The good: big screen, great memory, good service, easy to navigate, great sound quality. The bad: Very slow! keyboard is too small, keeps shutting off and going white, small enter keys, and is VERY slow at texting and doing anything on it.Summary: I got this phone about 25 days ago, and have not been impressed yet! I love to text, and thought it would be great for doing that. But it turns out it is so slow!, and it can't keep up to my texting! Anything you do on it, it's slow! The keys are way too small, and I don't like the rigid keys one bit! It also keeps freezing, shutting off on me, and turns white. I am not one to drop/abuse my phone either. The battery does not last very long either. I would not recommended this phone to anybody!! They only thing I love on this phone is the conversations, and how many texts it can hold! I am taking it back and getting a different one asap!

QA30 Motorola Hint AKA Raspberry

Posted on: November 30th, 2009 by Anonymous

The good: big screen, great sound quality, great pictures, good speed on downloads, full QWERTY keyboard vaugely reminds me of a blackberry, easy menu navigation, Micro SD card slot. Reg. size headphone jackThe bad: streaming video quality sucks even with hi-def stream, can not save sounds from browser, random shut-off in calls and texts, not compatable with a lot of apps from the storeSummary: I have had this phone for a little over a year. all in all its a great phone. the bad part is the fact that i had to get a replacement for "totally random" shut offs. verizon tech support says it was a glitch in the early models, and since i have recived the updated software it hasn't happened. great phone if all you want to do on the web is update status' on facebook/myspace etc.. only loads whole websites zoomed out and when you zoom in, the website makes no sense. GREAT MP3 PHONE. if you like your music on your phone, this has great sound quality and easy music navigation. all in alll its a pretty good phone.

Cute & Fat; Perfect for those who want a Multimedia Phone

Posted on: December 25th, 2008 by Tommy Tsao

The good: Beautiful graphics imo, very user friendly, shortcuts on front screen is very helpful, threaded messaging, great call receptionThe bad: The buttons, while giving very tactile feedback, needs time to get use to and also bc of the pyramid shape it sort of feels weird on your thumbs. The threaded messaging is a bit limited, not really like the iPhone's at all. Can be kind of slow, probably bc of the menu transition animations. The keyboard is also just slightly cramped, probably not recommended for those with fat thumbs.Summary: This is a great messaging phone, perfect for any texter who wants many of the smart phone features without a smart phone plan. The dedicated Google SMS menu is very helpful for those who want Google answers but don't have/want an internet plan. The keyboard, while not having the best key shapes, has great key and symbol locations. Still have yet to fully test the battery life, but under heavy text usage I didn't even use up a battery bar even without full out of the box charging. Great camera, very sharp pictures for a 2MP I must say. The speaker could be louder for playing music, but has a good quality sound overall. The screen, graphics, pictures, and animations on this phone are all gorgeous. The screen is the perfect size for this kind of slider.I would rate it an 9/10 (On standards of a "Dumbphone")

The good: Camera, sound, ease of use, more features than most smart phones but you don't have to sign up for a smart phone pac contractThe bad: size is a bit odd so handling it takes some getting used toSummary: first phone locked up in 24 hours and was replaced by alltel (who couldn't get it to unfreeze)...replacement phone working great so far (about 10 days as of writing this review)
