Basic Phone

Posted on: May 8th, 2007 by Julie Hinkle

The good: LOVE the walkie-talkie, love the predictive text, easy to use, GPS feature and telenav awesome, SIMPLE!The bad: a little too heavy for my liking, battery life is not all that great, ringtone pricing outrageous and only lasts 90days, signal strength goes in and outSummary: Overall this is a great phone. Back to basic. Its durable and an awesome phone if you like simplicity, no confusion over all that excess stuff, wish it had a camera but hey cant have everything. Decently priced as well

The good: Ease of use, menu structure, customizable shortcutsThe bad: Battery life could be better.Summary: This phone is very easy to use and understand the functions.Numbers are easy to store. Caller id ringers are easily set. Text messaging is a breeze and thankfully, I rarely experience a dropped call.

bad cell phone strength

Posted on: October 8th, 2006 by Gary Lucas

The good: small and easy to useThe bad: signal strength not as good as old phoneSummary: My old cell phone thru the same company had better signal strength than my new phone. The sound is not as clear as old model either. Overall I am not happy with this phone. The sims card failed and luckily it was still under warrenty.

A speaker with not a lot of good sound .

Posted on: September 20th, 2006 by Susan Canup

The good: Flip phone , very light , and carrys a brand name .The bad: We've went through (in our household) 4 of the same phones and they all had really bad speaker componet.Summary: 1 of the phones we've had you couldn't talk using speaker phone , and the other you could ONLY use the speaker . A third one would not keep charge and it wasn't the charger . The speakers do not last long at all on these models .Also they get looose at the hinges .

The Simple Basics

Posted on: September 14th, 2006 by Kimberly Roberts

The good: Everything a cell phone needs. The bad: Not enough interchangeable face covers.Summary: The i710 is the simple basic cell phone. It has everything you need as a cell phone with 2 way, without all the extra complicated gadgets, (ie, camera, mp3 player)So when considering a basic cell phone purchase, look into the i710 for basic cell phone needs.

Good, for a Walkie Talkie Phone

Posted on: August 23rd, 2006 by Jessica Jett

The good: The voulume is loud, used as a walkie talkie, it is the best way to talk. The bad: Phone reception is horrible. the menu bar or toolbar, is to small. Not enough ringtones to choose from. Summary: I think the i710 motorola phone is excellent, as a walkie talkie phone, but it leaves a lot to be desired as a regular cell phone. Everyone is going towards a more slimmer phone, more lightweight, and I think this shoud be the new direction for motorola.

Motoral i710 cellphone

Posted on: August 22nd, 2006 by Tina Hall

The good: nice size, stays in holder on belt clipThe bad: low ring volume, have to hit "contact" then scroll everytime you call/connect with someoneSummary: I would only rate this phone as "okay, at best" You have to go to the contact button then scroll down everytime you connect with someone - then you have to leave your phone open to talk to them. If you close the phone, you can't keep talking until they call you back. Also if you wait more than 15-20 seconds between responses, it clears it out and you have to hit contact then scroll down to get back to the person you were talking to or go menue, call record then find the person that way. Big waste of time and frustrating. Also you have to turn the phone to different angles to get a clear view of the display

Pretty good

Posted on: August 16th, 2006 by Laura Arthur

The good: This phone is very sturdy for someone who drops the phone a lot. It has a speaker to talk on the front and the back which is nice because you can leave it in the clip and not have to take it out. The bad: Well the direct connect button sometimes does not respond and is annoying. You have to reset the battery. The replacement clip for the phone since my original one broke goes on the front of the phone instead of the back and so annoying to take off and wastes time just to answer a call. The original one goes on the back, so its easy to take out of the clip and leave it on you rather than taking it off to get the phone out. Summary: The phone is great overall. It has good reception and easy to use. Recommend to anyone needing a sturdy phone that drops them a lot. In fact my husband got this one for me because of that.
