"Don't do it!"
The good: Compact and lightweight... That's about it.The bad: The battery stinks, and the reception is terrible. When using the phone I can barely hear the person that calls me and if I try to turn the volume up it is all static and sounds like they are in a tunnel. My external display has now stopped working and the hinge feels like it is going to snap any day now. Summary: Maybe it is just my particular model, but I have had nothing but grief trying to use this phone. If you are considering the i836 for any reason, make sure that you have a trial period before you are committed to keeping it.
