Elders don't buy

Posted on: March 6th, 2008 by Karl Loren

The good: It is pretty -0- lots of featuresThe bad: Not for the technically challengedSummary: I'm in my 70s and don't need this level of fancy. Nextel tried to transfer my old phone numbers to this model, only about 1/3 transferred, then trying to use the web address book took me 3 hours with Tier 2 Tech service and no succcess. It is far far too complicated for me. I will return it within 30 days to get a refund/replacement.

Great while it lasted

Posted on: October 13th, 2007 by Jonathan Black

The good: Bluetooth, camera, and great form factorThe bad: Durability, connectivitySummary: This phone was great for the first six months and then it was hit by the screen flip many folks are complaining about. At first it was random, then it was frequent, now it's permanent. While it lasted I really liked this phone. It was a good size, comfortable to use and decent features. It's only downside was the difficulty moving the address book via bluetooth - only one contact at a time. Unfortunately, the apparent defect that appears after a few months of normal use forces me to rate this rather poorly.

Don't Buy

Posted on: August 30th, 2007 by Anita Dunbar

The good: light weightThe bad: Doesn't last very long for the price I paid. Summary: I have had this phone for about 7 months. It has never been dropped/abused. The backlight doesn't work if opened all the way. When opened half way all of the numbers/names etc. are upside down. I was told to remove then replace the battery. Still doesn't work properly. I was told to send it back and they will return it in 2-3 business days. For the price I paid this is absurd.I do not get a loner phone because I did not purchase the insurance. Why should I? My i860 lasted two years before I had any problem. If these phones are defects they should be replaced at no charge.
