"Spoiled by my Blackberry"
The good: Keyboard works for me; screen is clear and easy to read (when it's lit); size is convenient; seems pretty tough; recharges quickly The bad: software lacks a lot; microphone is all but useless for voice dialing; back-light time-out options Summary: I can't quite remember now why I didn't replace my stolen Blackberry with another one, but the Q seemed a good idea at the time. Honestly, it's very serviceable, very good-looking, fits nicely into my hands, pocket, side of purse and I've... more...

"Not too bad..."
The good: looks nice and slim fast internet The bad: kinda hard to use...and something that is REALLY annoying is that if u get a text the ringer keeps playing until its over...even when the text message has already been read it will keep ringing until the song is over...when in meetings or public places it gets a little old and we can't figure out how too stop it... Summary: More of a business phone, not recommended for teens...go with a different phone and there isn't the best battery life... more...

"Terrible"
The good: Small in size. The internet is fast. The bad: Cheaply made, Has some software glitches that leave you thinking why did that happen. The software is slow and laggy. It does not get loud enough for alarms or for ringer. the calandar is hard to use and hard to view upcoming events. And many many more. Summary: This is most likly the next "razr" that everyone is going to have to have. In my opinion, if you need a PDA please step up and get a blackberry or a palm treo or something like... more...

"Emails don't stay on device until you delete them"
The good: The phone has great features and is generally pretty good The bad: The emails you download using a POP3 service only stay on the device until you delete them off the server. Once your POP3 mail client removes the message from your mail server, the device seems to think it should also delete them from itself. This is the MOST ANNOYING "feature" of the thing. In my opinion, it should keep messages until you TELL IT to delete them. Summary: The phone sometimes reboots itself for no... more...

"This is a great device!"
The good: The size, styling and weight are terrific. The screen is clear and vibrant, and the voice quality is the best I've ever had. I find the navigation fairly intuitive. The bad: The battery takes a long time to charge, and the life is nowhere near that of BlackBerry (which spoiled me), even with the "large" battery. It has required me to change my habits and charge up much more frequently. I purchased an additional charger to keep in my suitcase so I won't ever forget it. Summary: I... more...

"Lags a little, but otherwise great!"
The good: I am still in the trial and error stages of learning the new Motorola Q, but WOW here is what I think so far. Features that have impressed me most are the voice and sound quality, using voice commands with the Bluetooth headset, photo quality, vibrant screen, MMS, and DUN with PDANET. The bad: I don't feel like the scroll wheel is sturdy enough. Seems to lag and could really use some better shortcuts. For example, it takes three steps just to get to the InBox... "Getting used to the Q"
The good: This phone has it all. I love having access to my calendar, contacts, e-mail etc. (The best part was it took like three minutes to upload using wireless sync. Sound quality is great, on and off the speakerphone. The bad: When putting the battery case on my new Q I was disappointed by the "cheap" feel of the cover. I was also bothered by the amount of time it took the phone to boot up. I understand this is a with a lot going on inside of it, but at least show me something. ... more...

Noah's Motorola Q Black review
Motorola launched their Q smartphone amidst a flurry of hype proclaiming it the world's thinnest, lightest, and most stylish handset to feature a full QWERTY keyboard. Still a hair's-breadth skinnier than the new Samsung Blackjack , the Q is amongst the chicest handsets to offer the full productivity of the Windows Mobile platform ... at least until Motorola's forthcoming q9 debuts later this year. The Q is now available for use on Sprint's CDMA network with high-speed EV-DO data... more...

"There's Better Phones Out There!"
The good: Keyboard is nice, text messaging is decent, good web browser, lots of features The bad: kinda bulky, memory is not the best, not easy to work with, takes a while to process Summary: This phone is good for those of you who like multimedia phones and love a lot of features. It has mail, an excellent web browser, shortcuts, lots of menu styles, and it has great potential to be an excellent smartphone. But if you're a text message guru, be sure you delete messages often. I text a lot,... more...
