The good: the display is good.you get great service.service is probably best part about it.The bad: turns off on its own.deletes music,pictures...basically anything saved to memory card.the battery life can be bad at times.Summary: i have had this phone for two years and i hate it. the phone always deletes everything on my phone. with wallpapers it always zooms in on it and the wallpaper doesnt show up the right size.the battery can mess up.it will turn off on its on right in the middle of anything. overall my advice is not to get this phone!!

MotoRokr z6m

The good: Not many. I mean, the phone never lagged on me at all. It has a great speaker. The 3.5 mm headphone jack is AMAZING! Not many phones have that feature. The bad: I've had to replace it...twice. The first time, the "Clear" button just quit working on me. It may have been because I got a little bit of sweat on the phone but it was screwing up even before that. There are just too many internal problems. The T9 is also HORRIBLE!!!Summary: Like I said the pros are VERY good features. However, I have experienced MANY internal problems with this phone. And not only ONE of them, but BOTH, for I have had to replace it under the warrenty. And now I have to replace it AGAIN out of warrenty. First off, the T9 just flat out sucks. It CLAIMS to have "Word Learn" but the phone only memorizes certain things for about 5 minutes and then it loses them. Some of my security features stopped working, also. My contacts are SUPPOSED to be locked. But even though it says they ARE locked, I can just go right to them, w/o putting in my password. And then my screen turned completely white for about 5 hours. It had turned white before, but for only about 10 minutes. So it's time to chunk this thing and get a new one. It's not worth the worry.

Love this phone

Posted on: September 4th, 2008 by Anonymous

The good: I think it is really fast and the phone reception is really good, but i guess that is based on your carrier. i love the simple lay out. i also like that it is a music player, so i don't have to carry my ipod too. I also love the look of the phone and the slide design, and the 2 megapixel camera is really nice. and most of all it's a motorola, and they are my favorite phone brand. The bad: Sometimes the phone will just turn off all on it's own, it happens almost every time I get a voicemail. second sometimes my texts don't send and then i have to turn the phone off and then on to get them to send, that happens a lot while i am roaming. sometimes when i use celltop (for alltel users only) and sometimes the app store (when i have low battery) i have to press the end button a million time to exit or i just slid it shut and wait a minute for it to go away. last of all, it is very sensSummary: I love the phone and all of it's features and design. but there are some glitches, like texts not sending, have to hit the end button a lot to exit some apps, and a very sensitive screen. overall I love the phone and encourage you to get it. BUT DON'T DROP IT!!!

I love the phone

Posted on: August 6th, 2008 by C Oo

The good: I really like the Motorola Z6M, it has all of the features I like plus the call clarity and handling are both top notch. The MP3 player works well for being a phone (if you want an MP3 player buy a MP3 player). The controls are well laid out. The slide feature is smooth and it seems very sturdy. The bad: Not much bad I can say about it. I am on my second one now in less than 2 months, but not to the fault of the phone. I damaged my other one canoeing. The 1 2 3 buttons are hard for my fat thumb to find right up near the slide, but this is minor to me. No real gripes from me. I am a Motorola fan, always have been. Oh, one thing that I do not like is the fact that it only supports 2 GB microSD cards, 4 would be much better.Summary: Good phone, works well, needs to be able to handle 4GB cards.

Not so good

Posted on: March 27th, 2008 by Anonymous

The good: The phone is very easy to use, and has all the features I want except a qwerty keyboard. The bad: I have had the phone about 1 month. The alarm will go off sometimes when set, and sometimes while going off it cannot be shut off unless I turn the phone off. When sending an outgoing message, the phone will freeze up sometimes, and I have to press end call repeatedly to get back to the home screen. The battery life is not good either. Two days ago, I tried to answer a call with the green "call" button, but the phone went to silent and would not answer the call. The reception is very inferior toSummary: I like the slide feature, but the phone has let me down. It has the features I want, as I have the Oakley OROKR sunglasses that Motorola did the audio for. Sometimes the phone will connect correctly with the sunglasses, sometimes not. I was happy with the phone until about 2 weeks ago, when I started having little irritating problems as mentioned before. Also, it should have a decent memory capacity, but with only 2 songs stored on the phone, it says I cannot store any more songs on the phone. I do however have a memory card, so I can put music on it. I am going to give the phone one more try with a new replacement, but if the next one has the same problems, I am finished with ANY Motorola phone.

Motto Rokr throught Alltel

Posted on: February 8th, 2008 by Christy Lindsey

The good: It is sleek and fashonable. The bad: I have a defective unit that the text messageing freezes and it does not matter how big or small the message is. They get stuck in the out box and I have to turn my phone off, then back on. Sometimes they will send on their own once I have turned the phone back on, however most of the time I have to manually re-send. The point where I become displeased is with Alltels lack of desire to fix the problem. I have taken it into the store and talked with "tech support" so much that I am just done. Summary: The messages get stuck in the out box and I have to turn my phone off, then back on. The point where I become displeased is with Alltels lack of desire to fix the problem. I have taken it into the store and talked with "tech support" so much that I am just done. I have worked for Verizon Wireless and I understand the technical side of phones, so it is really fustrating when I know a phone is defective, but an employee is unmotivated to resolve issues. And yes "RESOLVE" is a Verizon Wireless word not an Alltel word obviously.

problems in the first month

Posted on: January 29th, 2008 by Rebecca Weaver

The good: great featuresThe bad: a lot of glitchesSummary: We purchased three of these phones one month ago. We are really considering asking to return them and get different ones. So far two of them have "frozen" at the opening screen and are being "fixed" by are provider. Not a good omen that two out of three are in for service in less than one month. I would not recommend

Awesome!!

Posted on: October 20th, 2007 by Kimberly Strickland

The good: 2.0 mega pixel cameraEase of useThe bad: none yet Summary: I bought this phone after returning a treo and a Moto Q, when I couldnt hear well on either of them or send pictures mobile to mobile. This phone is great, the sound, picture quality and sleekness are all a plus. This phone is also very easy to navigate. I have yet to experience any problems but I did just pick it up a few days ago.
