Awful - Just, awful!

Can you give less than a star??? April of 2014 AT&T was replacing a defective phone by gifting me a new phone of another kind. At the time they were out of the one I wanted, so I paid the difference for the upgrade to 32GB. I was told that the phone was mine, but as I'm now cancelling my service contract I've found out that they connected the device to my contract and didn't make me aware of this- I was told the phone was mine, nothing about it being tied to a contract. I called today to pay my ETF fee, which took me speaking to 2 csr's and 2 supervisors before they would even take my money, as set up service with another carrier (1/2 the price for more of everything!) and they refuse to unlock my phone. All of the CSRs I spoke with previously this week told me that once I paid it would be unlocked, but omitted the fact that there would be a ridiculous and completely inappropriate wait causing me to be without service. I have now been told by a supervisor, Alex -Employee ID# B7S6G97, that he "Cannot have me on the line contradicting everything he says." after I stated they "are able to alleviate this, but clearly refuse to.", and then rushed me off the phone as though I was now a waste of his valuable time. I will not have an unlock code until 5 days from now, preventing me from using my own phone. This is going to cost me as many days with the new carrier, not to mention the 3 days it took me fighting to get this far. All but the last 2 reps I spoke with were, at least, professional. This is the only positive thing I can say about AT&T in my 2.5 years with their service. My $255.00 ETF fee is paid, I owe them nothing and yet my phone, and therefore service, are hostage to AT&T and their asinine "policies"... this took 5.5 hours over the last 3 days of my time, and this is still unresolved.

Nexus 6 is awesome!

Ok after a week or so with the Nexus 6 I can finally give my review of it. Overall its a great phone with a very solid feel. Now this phone is very big so it wont be for everyone. I will say, you have to feel it for yourself to make a judgement. I feel its a great size for everything I use a phone for, which involves a lot of media viewing. The inclusion of the turbo charging was a very smart move buy Motorola and every phone manufacturer should be switching to this. Build Quality - Its actually pretty damn good, very solid feeling phone for sure. The metal band around the phone gives it a very premium feel to it. The hard plastic does make it kinda slippery and is a finger print magnet, Motorola should have wen with something different here. Screen - Its absolutely gorgeous, the AMOLED screen has very deep blacks and very vibrant colors that really pop. The screen size is awesome for media viewing and gaming. I will say that Google should make better use of the extra screen space with future updates, Basically use a few things that Samsung uses with the Note line, mainly the split screen multi tasking. Sound Quality - The front facing speakers are awesome, although they aren't as good as the ones found on some HTC phones, they are still FAR superior to any other phone on the market. Battery Life - Its actually pretty decent, the phone makes it through a whole day for me without a single problem. I will say its not as good as the Note 4's battery life, but definitely not bad. Android 5.0/5.0.1. - Lets face it, a lot of the buzz for the Nexus is because of the new version of Android. Let me tell you that Lollipop doesn't disappoint at all. Its very quick and responsive and never has any hiccups, absolutely the most fluid Android experience I've ever experienced. This is the first version of Android I feel comfortable recommending to people of all levels of tech savvy. The new look of Android is very nice, I love the way they have toned down Android and made it easier for the masses to enjoy it, without dumbing it down to the point where the tech savvy people wont enjoy it. All in all, this is the best Android phone I've ever owned for sure!

Verizon Rep Screwed up my phone!!!!

To start with I have a Verizon business account. I have 8 tablets and 6 phones from them. I went in to upgrade my personal tablet and the sales girl recommends I get a Bluetooth headset as my phone is ringing off the hook. I have a Droid Razor and this was a Plantronics headset. So I say ok, its $100. I have her set it up and everything. I get the new tablet and go out of the store. I am cruising around and using the Bluetooth, no problems. I get home and turn off the Bluetooth and low and behold the mic on my phone doesn't work. My customers are calling and can't hear me, my wife nobody can hear me. I try turning off phone, unpairing Bluetooth even go as far as factory reseting my phone. NO GOOD. I have my wife take the phone to Verizon, they tell her there is a problem with the mic. There is no problem with the Bluetooth. I tell them that this happened after their sales girl installed Bluetooth. SORRY, YOUR PROBLEM. What a joke. I spend 10k a year with them. So, to fix it need new $200 phone. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! I am getting finished with my contracts and getting someone else!!! I can't believe this!!!!

Cheats Boost Mobile

BoostMobile-- beware if you use this plan. You may loose your hard earned money. I have been trying out boostmobile. Had the autopayment plan. But have no service. They deducted from my bank the monthly autopayment of 44.63, then cut the phone off claiming they did not receive the payment. the payment has been deducted out of my bank. But according to boost mobile, they did not receive a payment. So who has the money? I live alone, disabled and no phone service. In their phone call, they said I would have to help them find the money!!!!! I don't get paid to do their job. I wonder who does their accounts? People with no accounting experience? They took the payment and then state they got no payment. I told them to put the money back into my account. They state they have no money. They claim I have to find where the money went.. The money was deducted from my checking account into their account.. Now they are saying I have to help them find the money... Well send me your accounts and I will find the money. To use this company, be prepared for them to take your money, tell you to help them find the money, and give no service. That is free money in their account. Whoever does their accounts should see where the figures do not add up.. But of course you may have to have a degree in accounting or experience with accounting to know how to do that.. Also do you have to know how to count to add?

Close to the EDGE (Note Edge review)

First and foremost I concede the edge is basically the Note 4 and it definitely is not for everybody. What attracted me to it is the very thing that will turn some people off(limited production). Does the edge screen justify the added cost, of course not but no phone's features justify it's cost to be perfectly honest, so cost is a moot point. I'm not going to delve deeply into the features because you can read/watch a Note 4 review for that. I purchased the edge because I have a strong desire to be different and I love when I'm out and about playing with it how people stop stare and often drool that is definitely worth the extra cost.

RUN as fast and fare as you can

There service is by far the worst in the market bolth data and voice. There Custimer service is so bad I am paying Someone else to fix the problem. There staffs nil age of the products and proseagers is so bad i can't beleave sprint is still in busness and that comes from the top pore uper Managment all the way to the top. I would not seguest useing sprint if you have any dependence on your device working when you need it I have decided to bite the bullet and pay the contract out and go somewhere else were I can get a ancer or Soulations to an issue in less then 3 weeks. Shuld not be hard th fiend. (I WOULD NEVER OG BACK TO SPRINT)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NET10 - please stay away from

Hopeless coverage Hopeless service Please stay away or rather spend the money on the payphone. I was not able to get international card in 15 locations. I have purchased nationwide card in hope to call customer service and convert it into international calling minutes (even with the loss of some $). That was not available. They made me buy international unlimites calling card for $65.00 which cancelled my $30.00 unused card. Unfortunately this card did not work for the destination I am calling (Poland, European Union). I am $95.00 short and still unable to make calls. There is no way to get the money back from them. Please beware.

Sleek and fast phone

I was eligible for a device upgrade on my Verizon Edge plan and only needed to pay tax on the full price, plus a monthly lease fee that will amount to just a little more than the full upfront price. So naturally I jumped at the opportunity to snag a 64GB iPhone 6, upgrading from a 16GB iPhone 5, and am glad I did. It's a sleek device and very fast! I love the additional breathing room the larger 4.7" screen affords, and am absolutely in love with TouchID. The device feels great in my hand and does pretty much everything I need. I have owned every major generation of iPhone since iPhone 3 (3, 4 5 and now 6, none of the S models) and Apple keeps delighting me with nice new touches and improvements. This one is no exception. I am knocking off a star for battery life, but that's more of a knock on iOS and apps which continue to add battery-sapping features, and not necessarily a negative point for the device. iPhone 6 easily lasts me for a full day and some, but two full days of light use, or one day of very heavy use would be nice, without having to step up to a phablet. One can dream...

The worst provider, worst carrier, worst customer service hands down!

Why is it that I can't rate this company with a big fat zero? They're liars. Their service is crap no matter where you are. Their customer service reps are rude, untrained and say anything to get you off the phone. They've been claiming they're upgrading their all new network for years. I see 4GLTE from time to time and it works horribly! Every other service is better. T-Mobile seems to have moved ahead of the rest, but Verizon is good service, although it costs more. Sprint says they're lowering their prices to compete with T-Mobile, but they're liars. Compare a T-Mobile bill to a Sprint bill for the exact same service. You'll find out you're paying more for much less. If you enter into a contract, they will screw you and won't let you out without a huge penalty. Save yourself and don't even think about going with Sprint.
