Tracfone telephones

Posted on: April 23rd, 2008 by Michael Holmes

The good: tracfone serviceThe bad: unrealistic expectationsSummary: Hi- I've used Tracfone for several years now. With a landline at home, my tracfone lives in the car. It has been a reliable tool for on the road use, emergencies, etc. When used in this way, it is a remarkably useful and economical service. It is not for chatting up your friends, casual chatter- that would soon make it an expensive service. If you do not use phones a lot, need an occasional phone, or simply need a travel phone, get a tracfone. I have found the tracfone service people very helpful- tho they speak English with Indian accents. I am not poor, and neither are my family and friends who have also adopted tracfone- just sensible. If you want to ACT like you have an expensive phone and service, get one.

Battery does not hold as advertised

Posted on: December 31st, 2007 by Julian Adam

The good: 1. Nice look/slim and very comfortable to hold.2. Good sound-receptions .. clear3. Simple. The bad: 1. All plastic ... looks cheap.2. Battery sucks3. It does not have good pixelsSummary: I bought this phone last week with Rogers. I have high expectation on this one ... so far .. for its sound receptions... are very good ... no echoes .. it has a great sound ... Well... they advertised .. the battery can hold more than 8 days at least... but mine .. stand-by only.... just hold for days... that sucks big time...Otherwise... it is a good phone if I can buy a better battery for this one.If you just need a good simple phone.. this one can satisfy you... as long as you can find a better battery.

Motorola W370 Budget Razr

Posted on: May 15th, 2007 by Anonymous

The good: Slim, slick and cool blue lights.Good volume ,Motorola. The bad: Only target seems to have it locally. No camera or external screen.Summary: This is a Tracfone, which is the reason I bought it.It's far cheaper than the razr or the krzr at $50.Very basic but that's fine with me. I love it,it makes want to use it all the time. I did have a problem registering online,I had to call the 800 number so i didn't get the free online minutes for registering online. But if i wanted that many minutes I'd be looking for a contract deal.
