"Buttery smooth OS packed in a Beautifully Different chassis."

Display: Nokia's Clearblack AMOLED display with RGB matrix is certainly an eye candy, with saturated colours and deep blacks. The deep blacks certainly play well with the dark theme of the Windows Phone OS, where the display and the bezel seem to merge into each other. Nokia's Clearblack technology has also allowed the display to be one of the least reflective among all mobile displays, beating even the likes of the Galaxy S II. Hence enhancing the readability of the display outdoors. The Nokia Lumia 900 lost its point to the screen resolution, where a WVGA resolution of 217 ppi on the 4.3 inch display does not make the cut for the year 2012 anymore. The low ppi will show its disadvantage when reading small text on the browser or when using Nokia Reader.
Reception & Call Quality: Reception & Call Quality is something that Nokia does best given its reputation of manufacturing the best hardware for it mobile phones. Moreover, the polycarbonate chassis of the Nokia Lumia 900 allow virtually no signal disruption to the antenna radios. Therefore the Reception & Call Quality of the Nokia Lumia 900 deserves a clear-cut 5 out of 5.
Battery Life: Nokia has generously included a huge 1800mAh battery into the Nokia Lumia 900, therefore battery life should be above average with moderate use. Moreover, the Nokia Lumia 900 not only operates on a single-core 1.4ghz snapdragon S2 processor with Adreno 205 graphics, it is also operating on Windows Phone 7.5 Mango, which is less resource hungry compared to Android. Therefore, moderate users can certainly make it a full day before plugging in the device for a recharge. We should not forget the fact that the battery life king for smartphones still belong to the Motorola RAZR MAXX, therefore i would give the Nokia Lumia 900 a battery rating of 4 out of 5.
Design/Form Factor: People had been singing praises for the pillow-like design of Nokia's devices since the announcement of the Nokia N9, so the Nokia Lumia 900 is no exception over here too. The unibody design of the Nokia Lumia 900 surely creates a clean and sleek look. The symmetrically curved body of the Nokia Lumia 900 not only feels good and solid in the hand, it fits snugly and comfortably in the hand as well. Nokia has certainly looked into the details and gave the Nokia Lumia 900 a thinner bezel, therefore allowing single-handed use for users with larger hands. Due to the larger dimensions of the device, reaching to the top of the device to unlock it might be uncomfortable, therefore Nokia's placement of the Power/Lock button for the Nokia Lumia 900 at the side certainly enhances the usability of the device. Generally i have no complains about the Design/Form Factor of the Nokia Lumia 900, and it is also undeniably one of the best looking phones to date, especially with the fresh paintjobs of the device like Cyan, White and even Magenta (which might be announced soon). Therefore i am giving it a 5 out of 5 as well.
Apps & Media Support: One of the deal-breakers of Windows Phone operated phones are certainly the ecosystem of the applications that can be found in the Marketplace. Currently the Marketplace has only about 80,000 application and games, which is a far cry from the vast ecosystem of the App Store and Googlr Play. Therefore fancy app lovers might want give a second thought before throwing in their hard-earned cash into a Windows Phone. In terms of Media Support, Nokia is certainly not going to lose out to the other OSes. Nokia has released exclusive apps for its Windows Phones, including Nokia Music, ESPN, Nokia Maps, Nokia Drive and even Nokia Reader. Therefore i would give it a rating of 3 out of 5.

Nokia Lumia 900 Written Review by Aaron

Nokia Lumia 900 Written...
The Nokia Lumia 900 is a beautifully designed device, and it's the most excited I've been about a mobile device launch since the HTC EVO 4G in 2010. To date, most Windows Phones have been relatively boring, toned-down "sibling" versions of other devices; a testament to the fact that Android-heavy OEMs don't see a lot of return on investment yet.  But Nokia's different.  The Finnish manufacturer has staked their reputation on Windows Phone, and given the state of the company... more...
