Noah's Nokia N95 review
Nokia's flagship handset, the N95, rests at the top of their N-Series line of multimedia computers. "N95 8gb - Excellent phone"
The good: Technically fulfilling. I use it to get my work email (exchange interface)and pop mail. Great 3G, Wifi and capable GPRS connections. A wonderful media device, though the standard audio player isnt the best- however several free players out there that can do the job well. The bad: Expensive. 8 gb is nice, but doesnt have expansion slot. The firmware update is a painful process cause the backup/restore isnt the best- though critical data is always saved.Summary: I really have no complaints. I had an iPhone but it just didnt feel right in the hands. Big factor here.. i have so much more freedom to back up music and other files and use as ringtones... iPhone is restrictive to iTunes purchased music as ringtones. I guess you could unlock your iPhone to make it better, but i want to update it. Nokia is open source- so there's tons of quality free software out there. So though pricey, you wont get hit with a lot of the little annoyances that prompted me to return my iPhone.
