Worst Phone I Have Owned!

Posted on: January 8th, 2010 by Dwayne S

The good: Camera 3G The Full Keyboard While Texting The Touch Screen (When It Works) And The Call QualityThe bad: Touch Screen, The Battery Life, And Pretty Much Everything Else.Summary: The Worst Phone I Have Owned. The Phone Freeze Up All The Time It Cuts Off By Itself Even With A Fully Charge Battery The Web Browser Sucks Badly The Camera Is Pretty Good And 3G Is Pretty Fast At Certain Times And The Screen Has Great Resolution And Also The Call Quality Is Pretty Good. The Battery Life Is Horrible The Longest It Last For Me Is One Day. Never Again Will I Buy Another Samsung Phone In My Life.

nice phone!

Posted on: May 24th, 2009 by jerry ma

The good: great touchscreen, solid design very easy to use interface, nice camera, and a metal back cover, etcThe bad: wished there was more features, no wifiSummary: i picked up this phone after a contract renewal. big upgrade from the w490. the phone is really to use and learn. the design is solid and classy, does not feel cheap at all, and the battery cover lock is a one of a kind feature. The phone sometimes lags, and the browser is a bit baggy. also, the screen is hard to see in the sun texting on the onscreen keyboard is pretty smooth, save a button location. the bast part is it does not require a data plan like the g1, this phone is not a smartphone, but a regular phone on steroids, overall, great product

Love it!!

The good: Its a touch screen, and its awesome.. The bad: The only problem I've been having is when I'm on the phone and want to send a txt.. And changing the screen savers on the lock screen.Summary: I love this phone. Its so awesome and its about time t-mobile got something worth while. lol. But not only that the texting is pretty easy. U can tilt the phone side ways so that the display screen turns sidewyas, and if you do while your texting you get a full qwerty board. The touch screen is pretty responsible and i'm pretty sure you can hold between 100-200 messages. depending on how much room is available on your phone and memory card. But in all if you have some questions you can ask. :)ITs awesome and worth the money!!

Don't believe everything you read.

Posted on: April 25th, 2009 by Michael Khora

The good: I personally like the Haptic feedback.Build Quality.Internet.3GProgrammability.Easy to use.The bad: None so far. I have a 10 megapixel Camera, and that takes slow pics. That's why the Camera is slow, cause it's powerful.Summary: I have to say. I jumped into the hot water to get this phone. I wasn't sure what I was getting into. I previously owned a BlackBerry Curve, which was becoming a complete pain in the a$$! The Curve is Flimsier than a BB Pearl, about the only thing on a Curve better; hardware wise, was the battery cover (Still a pain in the ass to remove). Wi Fi caused my calls to drop often, E Mail sucked, and most importantly is that the software upgrades are poorly tested for QC, so they brick your phone. One of the first things I noticed when I got this phone, was how well built it was.The battery door is solid, doesn't feel weak, like on my previous BlackBerry phones. The SIM card slot and Flash card slot, are also better. I don't hot swap so its not an issue. On a BB these are cheaply made, and the SD card slot actually broke on one of mine easily. The internet on this phone is faster than EVEN WiFi! Seriously!I like that it was easy to get to the things I needed. Instead of navigating through a lot of menus to get where I need to go.I go to my yahoo e mail through the internet. and thats fine. It's fast, and it gets the job done. The music is LOUD! I own a Record Company, and I need a decent media player to show my music to people.Look if you learn a lil patience, and how to program a lil bit, you can do a lot with this phone.BTW I dropped my phone, and it was fine, just a couple scratches on the camera.I freaked out at first; but it's made mostly of metal, so it was good.Look. BlackBerries, are nice; but after a while you will get endless amounts of E Mails, your calls will drop often while connected to Wi Fi. The sides would push in when I held my Curve one handed, and I'm talking about the housing, and not any buttons. I was afraid to drop my BB Curve. seriouslyThis is a review from a former BlackBerry "Power User"I'm just trying to help other people out before they jump, and get a BlackBerry over this phone. So far...I LOVE IT! Mine is the Espresso one BTW

The good: transfer music, light sleek sexy design, pretty much everything about it I looooove this phone!!!The bad: they should consider selling it with a stylus because sometimes I do mistype words, the camera can be slow dont move until your sure the picture has been taken, and some internet pics can be grainy but others are ok so I dunno whats up with that...Summary: Ok first off I have no problems with this phone telenav, internet, ect and I live in the Middle of Absolute Nowhere, Missouri. I looked up all the resturaunts in my town as well as directions with next to instant loading time so I really have no clue why ppl are saying this feature is crap. I do agree that the phonebook gets annoying bc you cant type a letter you have to sit there and scroll forever(big prob if you have alot of contacts)and sometimes i do mistype but that was only in the beginning but other than that I cant seem to take my hands off this sexy piece of machinery It just feels so good in your hand lol.

Good for TMobile but lacks some basics to make it easier

Posted on: January 8th, 2009 by Moishe Owitz

The good: Touch screen works well, widgets are a little silly but easy to deal withThe bad: phone book is a total pain, and messaging is weak.Summary: Ok, for a basic mobile phone this is not bad, sound quality is good and the features are cool, if not perfectly functional. BUT.. there are some basic things that I don't understand about this design which are causing me serious problems. 1) the search feature in the phone book is a pain. You should be able to type the letter somewhere to see the entries instead of dragging the slider. Maybe I'll get used to it if I don''t return it. and 2) Unless I'm mistaken, you can;t see the threads on the text messages. Only the most current mesage is displayed. Hello? can you say lame? I mean it's 2009 already, is it that difficult?

This Phone is Awesome

Posted on: December 13th, 2008 by Henry Tsang

The good: -It has a nice, clear display-It doesn't feel like it's going to drop out of my hand-The pictures this phone takes are pretty awesome-The Internet works well-Texting is a breeze-The touch-screen is responsiveThe bad: -Some of the pictures I took were grainy-The spacebar on the landscape QWERTY keyboard isn't exactly in the center-You cannot change the loud clicking sounds of the side buttonsSummary: I think this phone is fairly awesome. I've been looking at some of the reviews out there who are hating on this phone. If you're a tech-savvy type of person who want a perfect phone, you might not choose this one. Even though it isn't for all the fun-lovers out there, it's still a great phone for the average phone. Who cares if there's no Wi-Fi. I don't even use it. People are getting really lazy these days, and using their internet on the phone. We have computers for that. Next thing you know, you'll be cooking from your cellphone. The phone is more of a media phone, and suits my every needs. The battery life is good. I've only had to charge it two times in the past six days. I found the touch-screen to be truly responsive, which worked well. Texting was also no problem on this phone. The internet was a bit hazy at times, but otherwise, it worked so suit my needs. Overall, I think this phone is awesome, and it's a great phone for the average person.
