Very unhappy

Posted on: August 13th, 2010 by Bush the Liberator

The good: Looks great, slim. Plan is cheap. Takes b/w pics. The bad: Only 160 characters each text, which is a fatal flaw. If you are texting, and you get a text at the same time, the text you are writing goes into drafts. To open texts: You have to move an icon an inch, but only when the text is ready. So you keep trying to move the icon until the text is ready as you never know when that is. Then, you have to hit a button to open it. When sending a text, phone is useless until text is sent. Sound quality VERY bad when talking to certain phones.Summary: Nice price, nice fee ($50 month for unlimited), looks great. Not user-friendly at all. Only buy from a large, name store. NEVER buy from a Metro-PCS store.

An Expensive Mistake for Win 7 User

Posted on: May 6th, 2010 by Anonymous

The good: fun first touch screen, easy to learn to use, excellent manual and on board help key, great speaker for conference calls and music, good photo colors, great to have web access, touch sensitivity adjustable. The bad: Shutter lag is terrible, internet connection must be constantly refreshed, the offering of apps(widgets) is very slim, no streaming music, zoom on camera broke after one week, cannot install USB driver (32bit) to Windows 7 (64 bit), battery is worthless and gets really hot when it is recharging (daily)Summary: The dissapointment is always greatest when you have great expectations....I was looking forward to lots of great photos of my kids. Too bad they are always moving and the shutter clicks open long after you press the button....pics are always blurry.Wanted music. Streaming radio (no available app)and Mp3 off my PC. No go there, either. The Caliber USB driver is 32 bit, and I am using Windows 7, 64 bit. Samsung wrote "we do not have a driver for Win 7."

It's pretty decent.

Posted on: April 30th, 2010 by Jessica V.

The good: Very clear graphics, widgets make things a lot easierThe bad: Texting takes a little while to get used to, the phone turns off sometimes for no reasonSummary: I got this phone around a month ago. I like the fact that theres a little vibration when you touch the screen and that there are many volume settings. When you go on the internet it is very easy to navigate. The only thing that bothers me with the phone is that it randomly turns off and then wont turn back on for a while. But then once it does, it is completely fine again.

Very satisfying touchscreen phone

Posted on: March 24th, 2010 by Anonymous

The good: True 3D Capability (Deer Hunter 3D), neat widgets, email sync via mail@metro, full html web browsing with Youtube 3gp streaming, very good text messaging and call quality, fairly decent MetroNavigator gps with a pseudo 3D navigator (Shows images for directions), the voice recognition is pretty decent, 400x240 is IMO good for watching videos on, has both camera and camcorder, bluetooth, microsd support, MetroPCS allows you to use any mp3 as a ringtone, basic features (Alarm clock, unit converter,The bad: Have to go through MetroPCS to get apps or games, accelerometer isn't always as snappy as it could be, you sometimes have to bob it to get it to recognize you turned it, camcorder could be better quality.Summary: All things considered, it's a very solid phone and, despite the nitpicks, I thoroughly enjoy it and would recommend it as a MetroPCS costumer. If it was possible to get into the phone's internal memory (hack it), I'd probably give it a near perfect rating. As it stands, it's a good touchscreen phone for those who want a good, cheap service without having to settle for lesser phones.

Great Phone

Posted on: March 23rd, 2010 by Anonymous

It's a great phone and easy to use.. good access to the web for emails, facebook and other stuffs.. i just dont like the hard plastic case for it coz it can scratch the chrome lining of the phone.. i just got mine for a few days and the sides are all scratched up already waaahhh.. so i just recommend the silicon case for it.. but over all the phone is all good and a user friendly one..

LOVE this phone

Posted on: February 24th, 2010 by Anonymous

The good: Everything! Brightness, easy to use, email, facebook, music, touch screen... I could go on and on!The bad: Unlocking when on a callSummary: This phone is awesome. I've had it for about 4 months now and I have literally loved every second of it. The only tiny detail that bugs me is when I make a call automatically locks... but all you have to do is his the center button and unlock. This phone gets email, has great sound quality, and does NOT require you to be tech savy. I moved onto this phone from an LG flip phone I had since 2005 (basically only did calls and texts) and I learned the phone in a day. I 100% recommend it!!!

The good: Everything, well mostly everythingThe bad: Sometimes when im on the internet for a long period, it will shut itself off.Summary: I got this phone after my 3rd moto razr stopped working. It's very easy to use and easy to navigate. Im very happy with it. it has a bright clear screen, the music plays cleary and texting is easy.Sometimes when im on the internet for a while, it'll shut itself off. Sometimes when i go to touch the widgets they'll jump away from me, but its all good. They only problem i've really had is my computer is not able to reconize it when i want to put music on it, but i assume thats my fault.Id also recommend buying a case for it.

samsung not up to caliber.......

Posted on: December 4th, 2009 by Anonymous

The good: it was easy to learn things on the phone, i have played around on the delve before for figured it would be similarThe bad: phone has a few glitches here and there, and not very durable.Summary: had the phone 4 days and the main screen glass is cracked. was told it was due to an impact during a 10 minute drive across town. even though it was in my coat pocket, which puts the phone towards the front of me they said it must have been caught between the door and seat.... and they said it voids the warranty because even though there isnt a mark on the phone it had to be impact caused. if the phone gets a cracked screen in my coat pocket from driving across town this phone is not going to be very durable. and to top it off i asked about replacement screen and they dont know if its a seperate glass piece, if the whole lcd has to be replaced or anything. apparently they have no support on it or any parts available according to them.
