The Samsung Focus is like a long lost cousin of its Android counterpart, the Captivate. They're very similar and you can tell they have relation, but they're not so much alike that you would mistake them for each other. As AT&T has plans to move away from hinging on the iPhone, adding a phone like the Focus is sure to help their cause. "Mediocre Phone"
I've had this phone for a few years now and it is alright. The general design of the phone is good and I like the dedicated camera button, but the Windows Phone 7 ecosystem isn't great. There is a fairly poor selection of apps, and many of them are slow or don't work. For example, the Facebook app has a weird theme compared to the Facebook iOS or Android applications, and it difficult to use. It is also slow. Games run poorly and are difficult to access.
